Long Beach, Pulau Perhentian Kecil

After staying so many days at the calm and relaxing Pulau Perhentian Besar, I am started to feel kind of bored. I wanted to feel the nightlife on an island so I was advised to head to the Pulau Perhentian Kecil. There are two beaches here which are Long Beach and Coral Bay. Right now I am heading to Long Beach by a water taxi which cost me RM25/pax.
The first impression I had when put my first step on this beach my feeling is WOW! Truly different concept! This beach is so much happening. You can rent this big umbrella for your sunbathing. This is something you don't see at Pulau Perhentian Besar definitely!
Now, you need to understand where you are. 
Lots of cafe and restaurants here for you to pick! You will be spoiled with the choices you have here.
There are snorkeling gear for you to rent at RM5 - RM10 depending to the season. But the problem is too many boats along this beach, it is very dangerous for you to snorkel here. My advice is you can head to the jetty which is located in front of Bubu Long Beach, there are much lesser boat there and plenty of fishes to see under the jetty. Awesome!
Do you see the boats here? So many and very dangerous for snorkelers. The sand and the sea here is not as beautiful as Pulau Perhentian Besar because of the number of tourists here are 4 to 5 times more! No joke!
Do not bother about pre-booking your activity here. My advice to you is just come and do your own survey here with so many advertisement board like this along the longest beach in Pulau Perhentian!
Shot trip? Haha...anyway, just want to show you there are so many advertisement board like this which enough to make you spoiled with choices. 
That's what you can do on the day time, let's see the night of Pulau Perhentian Kecil that never sleeps!
Can you see this? Every small table there is a mat (tikar) for you to sit on and you can order your alcohol beverages here. This is a great pleasure sitting by the beach and enjoying your drink with your friends or newly made friends. 
For your information, there are two hangout places that are offering the same tikar concept but the only difference is one of them has this fire swinging performance. It becomes obvious later on when the place with this performance securing the full house status. Great strategy!
It is a simple acrobat show watching him swinging around. There are two performers taking turn to perform. Another performer is a ladyboy. That's the catch. Sorry for no picture.

Apart of drinking, there are spa & reflexology done by the Thais. Very good but the price is quite expensive. Well, the service is way better than I had before. Worth every penny!
Important information about this beach:

 You may have already paid for RM90.00 or RM100.00 for a return ticket from Kuala Besut to Pulau Perhentian but on this particular beach, you need to pay extra RM5.00/pax for a sampan ride between this beach to the big boat or vice versa. It is not even a 50m distance but too bad that you are obligated to pay because the big boat cannot get near to the beach or their boat will stuck. So please do not feel being conned if you are required to pay this fee. This is a norm.

What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Sports Shooting Club Hatyai (SSC)

Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. Kedai Kopi Lotus, Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! After taking the cable car from Harbourfront to Sentosa Island, Skyline Luge is what you will see when you reach there at Imbiah Lookout. Riding this can get you faster to the Siloso Beach and extremely exciting too! The price is as above and as you can see there is an express queue charges if you got bored of queuing. Luge is a very light sled where over here it is functioned by wheels instead of skate. It slides down the hill without using engines to run it. Blue Moon Valley actually is an extremely blue river meandering through a lush valley of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
