Steaped, a modern way to appreciate tea @Pavilion Mall KL

Image
When you happened to smell an unique aromatic tea fragrant when you are walking at Pavilion Mall KL, do look for the logo of a hummingbird where you will find Steaped. The store is clean, modern and revitalizing which is a perfect spot for customers looking for a perfect tea infusion to start their day. Steaped knows that coffee has always being the leader as an important beverage intake for most of our daily life. Tea is seldom in the picture. In order to make the breakthrough, they have created all kinds of recipes with amazing top quality ingredients just to persuade us that tea is a good choice too. Steaped's Sweet Apple Pie @RM12.00 (regular)/RM13.50 (Large) - This is their most popular drink under Rooibos Signature Drinks category. Personally, I would really recommend this drink for being a starter in appreciating tea. The ingredients in it are rooibos, apple juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Rooibos itself is a costly ingredient so you would expect the price of this drink wo...

Rocku Yakiniku @Pavilion Mall KL

Image
A group of friends gather in a restaurant to have a nice chit chat while cooking your own food and with beer to spice up the topic. The best part is it is a buffet style. Rocku Yakiniku is that kind of place which is located at the new section at Pavilion Mall KL called Dining Loft.  It can't get any better when you have excellent live band spicing up the atmosphere for the night.  The buffet style is divided into two sessions which are for lunch which is from 11.00am - 5.00pm at RM39.90++/pax. While another session is from 5.00pm - 10.00pm at RM49.90++/pax. To save some money for your dinner, I would recommend you to enter the restaurant by 5.00pm. However, please do note that the dining hour is limited to 100 minutes. Any addtional 20 minutes block will be charged additional RM9.90++ per person. **Lunch session on the weekend is RM49.90++/pax** While waiting for waiter to prepare, you can get some food at their buffet line. There are fresh salads available as y...

Artelier Coffee X Kitchen @Pavilion

Image
It is always a great suffering for me when you have a sudden crave of some caffeine does into your system when you are having your nice window shopping at Pavilion. I know TWG Tea is great but only coffee lovers will understand that you would just want a cup of nice warm coffee and nothing else. Some would recommend Espressamente by illy  which is a good one but not the best one until I found Artelier Coffee X Kitchen. Actually, I have to give the credit to Lwin Lee for her recommendation. She is so crazy about this place. You need to check out her blog too because she is one of the most fanatic person that I have ever met when it comes to food and drink. Looks familiar? Hell yeah, the one of the most wanted barista, Mr. Masahiro Aoki is back in KL! And he is at the heart of the KL but somehow hidden discreetly at the corner of the Level 2, Pavilion. It is more easy if you look for the Loewe or Moschino outlet. By the way, he is more prefer to be called as Masa-san. ...

TWG Tea @Pavilion

Image
That day my dream comes true when I finally able to have my tea time at TWG Tea with my two beloved ladies in my life. Yay! I always meet my Elayne jie whenever I am at KL. Sometimes I feel I am going to make her very bored already but I just love to find her even we do not have to talk a lot. Back to the topic, this is the menu of what you will see from the entrance. They do not just serve tea and bread only. They do serve western meal too but I prefer this place for a great tea time because of their exquisite outlook and comfortable seating. A tea book. Yes, you choose your desired tea from here. There are so many tea to choose from and you will get spoiled with choices. I took almost 15 minutes to choose my desire tea but in the end no result out of it. I had to get a waitress from Shezhuan, China with very fluent English to help me to decide. If you ever wonder what does TWG stands for, it stands for "The Wellness Group". It is established in 1837. If you ar...

Espressamente is founded by Francesco Illy in 1933. Their uniqueness is by producing and selling a unique blend of high quality coffee made from 9 types of coffee beans around the world. This uniqueness has brought them 230 cafes in 34 countries. This outlet at Pavilion is one of them. This Italian cafe has their own university around the world to develop and train people to become a coffee expert. Malaysia has one too which is known as Universita Del Caffe Della Malesia (UDC) which is located at Phileo Damansara 2. What I like about this cafe is they have lots of different types of coffee to choose from. From warm to iced coffee and from non-caffeine to alcohol flavored coffee. Cappuccino Viennese @RM11.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - A delightful small cup coffee with full of coffee fragrance roam in your mouth by just one sip. Basically it is a ordinary cappuccino with whipped cream on top but the taste is so different. Ill...
