Ipoh Road Yong Tow Foo, Segambut

As a Hakka, Yong Tow Foo is always the common food that we will eat almost everyday. At least in my family. Even when we are far away from home, we are still looking for it. Eventually, Ipoh Road Yong Tow Foo has become our solution. Every single piece you order is RM1.30/pc. Honestly, not really cheap at all. Anyhow, the taste is not bad at all especially they are using pork meat mixed with fish to add extra tangy sensation when chewing on it. The White Tou Fu is not that good because I am expecting it to be really soft and tender but it turned out to be slightly hard.  Even their fried food is selling at RM1.30/pc, the appearance looks deceiving but the taste is considerably impressive. Not too oily and the crunchiness is still exist.  The brinjal is still acceptable but overall. This restaurant does not really stand out with their food for us to travel a long way just for it. However, if you are nearby and you are feeling hungry, you definitely can choose this...

Restoran Yu Ai, Segambut

A simple restaurant like this is selling a very expensive seafood noodle. This restaurant is known as Restoran Yu Ai. Everyone at Segambut knows about this restaurant not just because of their food being expensive but rumored to be very delicious too.  The moment we are at the entrance we can feel the great heat from this area. They are cooking all the seafood noodles at extreme heat. Tomyam Seafood Maggi Noodle (small) @RM17.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 2/5 Taste: 0/5 Price: 1/5 Overall: 1/5 - OMG! This is the most horrible tomyam noodle that I ever taste and it costs me a bomb! The tomyam flavor is just pure seasoning flavor only. I think they steal the seasoning packet from the Maggi Tomyam. I wonder have they even tried their own food?? They have another which is a curry version which I guess from the Maggi Curry seasoning packet as well. Clear Soup Seafood Vermicelli (small) @RM17.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - Cle...
