Chillout, Soulout & Freakout

I had to much of expensive in my trip at Koh Samui so this round I decided to go economical but still a good food. So I go around Bophut and found this The Friendly Frog Restaurant. The reason I selected this restaurant is because their restaurant is full house! Not really cheap but compare with other restaurant, this is one of the best you can get. Just do not know about the taste. It is too spicy enough to make you in tears and running nose. As for the seafood, not fresh at all. Maybe should opt for a chicken instead. I always trusted Google to give me exact direction to the place that I wanted. Seems like it is not reliable at all especially when you are in some rural areas. I thought Koh Samui should not be a rural area but still it took me exactly 1 hour and asked 4 locals to get us to this restaurant which is called Dining on the Rocks. It is located inside a 6 stars resort called The Sixth Sense Villa. However, this villa located way too deep inside. Finally, I got here. If you need me to guide you to here, you should look for The Sixth Sense Villa, not Dining on the Rocks. The locals can guide you there better. They do provide a buggy service like this to any part of their villa and to the restaurant too. It is quite a distance from the reception. Dining at Koh Samui is an headache because they do not come cheap and mostly the restaurants catered their menu for the tourist. Not real local food can be found here. Anyway, I still have to eat so I went to another part of the town which is at the east of Koh Samui. After few rounds of circling the town with my bike, I finally decided with this Grill House restaurant. I picked this place based on the number of patrons in the restaurant. Ya, it may not look a lot but it is more than any other restaurants already at the street. Grill baby shark? No thanks... We have decided to order a package for 2 @1990 baht which consists of 1 lobster, 1 snapper, 4 tiger prawns, 2 calamari, 2 oysters, 2 crabs and one portion of clams & mussels. The serving is extremely slow because the chef is working hard to grill for every table. This is a portion of clams and mussels. The mussels were still ok but the clams were fishy. This is the Sail Rock which is located between Koh Samui and Koh Tao. 1 hour 30 minutes from Koh Samui. This is actually the best diving site if to compare with others but the wave was too strong and I got seasick in the end. I should have prepared myself with seasick pills. The price is 4500 baht/pax for 2 dives. Off we go for the first dive and as usual, we have a lot of divers. The best part at the sail rock is we are diving down to a chimney like. And swim into a tunnel. It is so cool which makes me wanted to opt for a cave diving for sure!! Stripped Eel Catfish is very annoying when it stick on your ears and not your tank or fins. It hurts a bit. This is a Batfish which I think it is delicious if I steamed it. Sorry fishes, coming through... It is so much fun to swim through them and look how the scattered and regroup again at the same spot. However, this can be dangerous because big fish like whale sharks likes to swallow all of them in their mouth...
