Restoran Icon Kitchen @Bukit Jalil

Image
When it is about Chinese cuisine, seafood is something you just cannot missed. At Bukit Jalil, Restoran Icon Kitchen is the only Chinese restaurant with live seafood. Mix Mushroom with Tofu (small) @RM18.00++ Outlook: 2/5 Creativity: 2/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Nothing special about this dish but just Japanese egg tofu with mix mushroom.  Tea Leaf Smoke Chicken (half) @RM40.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - Not many can accept the taste of the chicken because the chicken is smoked. However, it is very appetizing for me. The smoke fragrance is so strong that will stay in your mouth for quite a while. However, the price is a bit too hefty for half a chicken. Ginger Wine Clam (small) @RM18.00++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - The taste is very strong with the combination of white wine, ginger and garlic. Cafe Ame Soeur, Bukit Jalil

Image
Embarking yourself in the 19th century of the French Empire where it was at their height where Napoleon Bonarparte and his dominant power in much of continental Europe. Dine in the ambiance where the French royal used to have their meal and tea, Cafe Ame Soeur is what this restaurant is named. Ame Soeur means "Soulmate" in French. The name itself has clearly describe about this cafe is the best meet up place with your soulmate. This restaurant is located at the congested row of shops at Jalil Link Block 2 where hunting for a parking is really a big issue here. In front of the restaurant, you will see two different kinds of design on the left and right. The left is more to traditional Chinese style seating in the living room. While of the right is the western style where they usually have a fireplace in their living room. The restaurant itself is not very big. There are only less than 10 tables to accommodate. The overall design was exquisite to the very fine detail....

The Owl's Cafe, Bukit Jalil

Image
I got to know about The Owl's Cafe through the powerful social media. Some random people shared about this unique cafe in the Facebook and one of my friend just click "LIKE" on it. It is as simple as that. No advertisement fee is required and I got to know the existence of this cafe. Do you know actually this cafe is located at the first floor which is above a salon called Le'V. The point here is nobody will look up at a first floor for food if is not because of the social media. However, you just look at the overwhelming crowd here. You do not even know it is full house if you are not making the effort to get up here. I had to queue for a long 10 minutes to get a seat for 2. I think you can roughly imagine that everyone is here is just because of none others but the social media. This cafe is full of owls! I really do love owls because they are really cute. I just wonder how do they able to collect all different kind of owls. My friend, Ms. Cheryl is ...

Malaysia IX VS Chelsea (Friendly Match), Bukit Jalil Stadium

Image
After their training on last Tuesday, we are very anticipated and have very high expectation on this upcoming match between Malaysia XI VS Chelsea at the same stadium. After 4-0 trashing by Arsenal and 6-3 by Liverpool. Everyone is expecting higher scoring result from this match as well. So everyone is willing to go through crazy jam for more than 2 hours for it. We purchased a RM108/pax entrance fee to get a better seat for ourselves. We are kind of regret and we wished we had just spend only RM68/pax entrance fee instead. Alright! That's the match we are waiting for! John Obi Mikel, John Terry and Didier Drogba were having fun recording each other and the crowd. Supporters for Malaysia. Blues Supporters! Seems like still got people do not understand the meaning of playing with "water". Warm up session by Chelsea Team before the start of the match. This cute kid seems like a professional cameraboy! This is the Malaysian Line-Up! Chelsea L...
