White Water Rafting, Kampar River

White Water Rafting at Kampar River is what I always want to do all the time. However, I waited for so long only able to get this opportunity. Luckily I have a friend from China to accompany me to do this. Cool! The centre is located somewhere in the middle of the oil palm estate. Pretty secluded area. I doubt I can go there myself again. Don't worry, once you signed up for this, you will have a guide to take you there. The transportation fee is included. The fee is at RM130/pax but it is negotiable depending the number of people.
Your great adventure starts here! Really true and I am excited! Just to let you know something else, prepare to get wet from top to toe. So extra clothes is highly advised. As for the shoes, you wear non slippery shoes or sandals with straps.
This is the centre where they keep all their water rafting equipment here. Let me briefly tell you a little bit about water rafting. There are different difficulty level of water rafting from Class I - Class V. There are higher than that but it will be for professionals and not for leisure fun like us. So for Kampar River, the class is Class I - III only. So basically it is a very easy water rafting adventure.
Aaron, our guide from East Malaysia setting up the equipment before the final go! The journey downstream is about 2 hours. So before we start, they will provide us a 15 minutes briefing to know some simple instruction and safety. FYI, the fewer people in the boat the smoother the ride is.
This is my partner who is trying to show you the gears that you will be wearing and carry along. They do provide photography service downstream which you can purchase later at their website. So as for the time being, please enjoy our adventure with photos below courtesy from Riverbug.

This mark the end of our adventure. You will be guided to a place to change your clothes or take a sweet bath. Meals are provided so you just enjoy! Overall, this is a great experience and I hope to do another round or looking for a higher class instead!

Overall: 4/5 - It contains of cashew meringue, Mascarpone cream, honey balsamic cream served with white chocolate dipped vanilla Magnum topped with freeze dried raspberries and fresh strawberries. My suggestion is to mix them all together including the ice cream itself otherwise by eating the ice cream alone will be too sweet. Once you mixed them all together, the magic comes. The sensational taste of creamy, crunchy, a little sourish kick and sweetness combining all together to create a wonderful ice cream dessert. Definitely is a must order dessert when you are there.

Overall: 3/5 - It is also known as their signature Symphony of Starters, which takes you across the breadth of Indochinese cuisine with Vietnamese shrimp crystal rolls, lemongrass prawns, Cambodian-style deep-fried shrimp cakes and minced chicken on cinnamon sticks. All served with a variety of piquant sauces. The plate is just nice for 2 pax but the price is too expensive for that small portion.

Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - If you think that coconut soup should be a milky soup, then you are wrong. This is a chicken tomyam clear soup with coconut meat in it. Very delicious and creative way to make it. The coconut meat is the highlight of the entire soup. It just gave the soup an extra coconut fragrance in it and of course, they are edible. Do not worry, the soup is not too spicy.
