Awan-Awan Restaurant, Gunung Raya

From the picture above you know where I am now. I am at Awan-Awan Restaurant which is located at the peak of Gunung Raya. You will need a whole one hour to travel from bottom to the peak. I wrongly estimated the distance of this mountain. I almost ran out of fuel. So in the end I have to off the aircon and change to free gear to drift back down. Luckily, we able to find a petrol station nearby.
This is the great view on top where you can see the houses at Langkawi. Not many lights to be seen below because Langkawi does not have any sky rise buildings
From this side, we can see Satun which is at Thailand. Quite bright if compare with Kuala Perlis which we will be looking at below.
Below the bright moon is Kuala Perlis.
Starry starry night. Oh my, I got myself into these stars too much until I forgot to tell you all one thing. Going up here, you need to pay RM10.00/pax even though you will be dining here.
The Peak Hotel & Spa. Quite dark and I wonder is anyone staying in there.

Overall: 2/5 - We have to pay RM10.00/pax for coming up here and the food does not comes cheap either. The worst part is the food is quite bad.

Overall: 2/5 - It is pretty dry because there is no gravy at all to accompany with it.

 Overall, I feel that it is not really worth it to come up here and even dining here. Expensive entry with not many view to see and the food is not really that good to be priced that high. FYI, we are the only customers at that night.

 Note: We stayed at Bella Vista Resort & Spa Langkawi. A badly maintained hotel. Can you imagine their marble floor in their lift is broken? Not one but a lot! Apart of that, the room is really dirty and shabby! So please do not get deceived by the hotel's outlook. The price is not cheap either.

What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. After taking the cable car from Harbourfront to Sentosa Island, Skyline Luge is what you will see when you reach there at Imbiah Lookout. Riding this can get you faster to the Siloso Beach and extremely exciting too! The price is as above and as you can see there is an express queue charges if you got bored of queuing. Luge is a very light sled where over here it is functioned by wheels instead of skate. It slides down the hill without using engines to run it. They have two types of trails which are Dragon Trail and Jungle Trail. Choose either one you prefer but if you choose more than 1 ride, you should try both! Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. I felt like not long ago when bubble milk tea started to become a trend in our country. As I have expected 4 years ago, it will be substituted. Nothing is last forever. The recent trend is the soft serve ice cream. Inside scoop is one of the money scattering around Klang Valley with their ice cream parlor branches. I am at one of their branches at Sri Petaling.  What makes inside scoop really successful is their homemade ice cream which is using the pure ingredients into their ice cream. The catch what the demand wants. What we have known about ice cream is from Baskin Robbins, Haagen Dazs and some random gelato ice cream parlor. None of them gave the pure ice cream flavor in it. Merlion Park, Singapore

Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Sunday is just perfect day at Singapore! Of course, if you plan to eat their buffets, Sunday will be not a suitable day as it will be super expensive.
