Restoran GLK, Kuah Town

After a long ride from Penang to Langkawi, all you would want to do is to find a good seafood to reward yourself. So here we are at Restoran GLK.  We had a quick photo shooting on the seafood before they will be devour by us a moment after that. Eww~~~ sound cruel. Let's have a picture with the couple crab first. Do you know which one is male and which is female by looking at the picture above? Very hard to tell eh?

Turned them over and you will know the top picture is the female while the bottom with a triangle shape is male. Some people prefer to eat sweeter meat and crab eggs so female is the one they will choose. For those who like to eat more crab meats, choose a male one because usually female tends to be smaller in size.
Lobster and crab. My favourite seafood pair.
After choose our favourite seafood, weight them and negotiate the price. Once deal, select how you would like to cook them.
This is how the seafood stall looks like from the inside. They situated next to a river but it is more like a bigger sized monsoon drain for me.
Coconut Cream Crab @RM35.00

Taste: 3/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 3/5 - I usually had a butter cream crab but the boss advised us to get their signature coconut cream crab. It was a pretty unique taste but the coconut cream is same as sweet as the crab meat. The thing is we want to taste the true taste of the sweetness of the meat itself instead of the gravy. So I still believe butter cream crab is still the best because it carries saltiness and not sweetness which preserved our love over the sweetness of a crab meat.

Steamed Lobster @RM115.00

Taste: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - Actually the best ever to taste 100% fresh seafood meat is to steamed them. So I scored this just right. The true sweet and tangy lobster meat dancing in my mouth. Yummy! The price is a little high though.

Nothing special about this RM8.00 vegetable. However, I just want to mentioned that the first time we ordered the vegetable was super salty. So we ordered them to change it so they are okay with it include with an apology. The second round was superb. Just nice!
Never forget to order their large size Fresh Orange Milk Juice. Delicious!
There are tons of seafood restaurants in Langkawi. Most of them just to attract the foreigners with their overpriced seafood. I do not mean they are not good but it is just the price you paid you can get a bigger portion somewhere else like this place. This is a more economical seafood restaurant that you should drop by if you are graving for one.
