Madam Kwan's, Suria KLCC
It is a norm to bring an overseas friend to try our local cuisine. So I thought to bring her to our famous Madam Kwan's. Unfortunately, their famous nasi lemak was sold out so we ordered others.
Cendol @RM7.90++ |
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 1/5
Overall: 2/5 - What an expensive cendol! The ice is not finely shaved well so the ice is hardly giving you the experience of melting in your mouth. The brown sugar is a little too sweet and it is definitely not the same brown sugar like what you usually eat at Melaka.
Sangha Mee (Big) @RM40.90++ |
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 1/5
Overall: 2/5 - Very salty gravy and it is way overpriced! I unable to finish the whole plate. I really can't stand with the a salty food.
Cold Tofu @RM9.90++ |
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - A very cold tofu. The taste is so so but consider as the best dish for the night.
Prawn Mee |
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 1/5
Price: 1/5
Overall: 1/5 - The noodle is still so raw. It is ridiculous for me to eat. So I returned it back to them so no charges for this prawn mee. As for the soup, it does not have heavy prawn taste.
Chicken Satay @RM13.90++ |
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - RM2.50/stick is really expensive! The chicken satay taste is really so-so only. I rather go for those RM0.70/stick Kajang satay. The most ridiculous part is the satay gravy. It is not the spicy type but a salty type. Yucks!
Total Damage: RM92.20
Service: 3/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Food Serving Speed: Moderate
Will I Revisit?: Avoid at all cost!
