Singapore has Universal Studios and we have Legoland! Weee~~~ It has been a long waited time since I have heard rumor about this. Almost more than 20 years ago. No kidding! That time the rumor was opening a Disneyland. In the end is a Legoland which is better than nothing. It is located at the new developed area of Johor Bahru which is known as Nusajaya. Take the 2nd link, Tuas to Singapore and you will find this place easily. |
The price is RM140 (adult) and RM110 (senior citizen and child). If booked online 7-day in advance, you will entitled for a 20% discount off the normal price. |

This castle purposely built just for the roller coaster which called as The Dragon. The freakout level is 3/5 |
This is a Kid Power Tower where you move up and down by pulling the rope. This requires strength and the height is about 3-storey high only. Freakout level 2/5. |
Build & Test - a place for the kids to play out of their imagination. Creating things using Lego and test them! Perfect for age 6 and above. |
Observations Tower for you to have a better view of all over the Legoland. The ride is approximately about 10 minutes. We ride for 4 times there because this is the only ride with an air-con in it. Haha... Freakout level: 1/5 |
A good view over The Dragons. Basically Legoland is not really big and you can see there are still many ongoing construction around it. We will be expecting for more from this entertainment park. |
How can you miss yourself of getting wet? At Pharoah's Revenge, this is the fun part! Freakout level: 4/5 |
A lot of cute Lego like this around Legoland. They are good spots for photo shooting! |
Lego Rescue Academy is one of the game that is requires teamwork. I really like such activity which is more to family based activity. |
That's the Lego Rescue Academy where you have to work yourself hard racing up and down like a firefighters. A little competitions among family. Cool. Freakout level: 1/5 |
There are a lot of playground like this at Legoland. The Shipyard is the largest. This is the time where the parents can sit quietly for their own private time while letting their kids to go have their fun. |
City Stage is a place for performance as you can see now The Loudest Shout is currently showing. |
This is the group of The Loudest Shout. Very great performance from them and they really did their very best to entertain us and the kids. |
Here are the time slots. |
Remote Control Boat does not required you to pedal it like you used to see. It is more like driving a boat. Good for family with kids to drive together. Freakout level: 1/5 |
Envy looking at parents driving their car is so cool but they are still have a long years to go. However, this kids does not need to envy anymore because there is a Driving School at Legoland. They can drive like they own a car. |
This excitement is called Water Splash. It is really funny that you can splash water over these people who are playing there. There are 2 types of water splash which are water cannon and water dynamite. Prepare to get wet and do not feel offended when you are being wet. |
A railway track in Legoland? This is a 10 minutes train ride around Legoland. Sit back and wave to everyone! |
Talking about photo shooting spots, nothing can compare than the Miniland. This is the place for vivid photographers like me to shoot all I like. As you can see here is our proud Petronas Twin Tower in Lego bricks! |
Miniland is a place where all the countries in Asia famous spots has shrunk into Lego size! The countries are Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, India and China. |
Familiar with this street at Kuala Lumpur? |

It is amazing on how detail they can made these figurines. I wonder what will happened if heavy rain comes. Can these miniature hold on? |
KLIA Airport will be my last to show in this Miniland. |
The amazing part of this Mini Land is not just they are built in mini size but the detail and also the moving objects makes it so interesting. Even a train is moving too! |
My overall opinion is this place is solely for family only. Too many kids activity and mostly for age 6 and above. Unlike Universal Studios which is more for any ages. Anyway, this place is still developing so we will see how does it evolved to. I hope something different for all ages. Otherwise, this place can never last for 10 years if to compete with Universal Studios which is not very far from here. |
