The Friendly Frog Restaurant @Bophut Fisherman Village

I had to much of expensive in my trip at Koh Samui so this round I decided to go economical but still a good food. So I go around Bophut and found this The Friendly Frog Restaurant. The reason I selected this restaurant is because their restaurant is full house!
Not really cheap but compare with other restaurant, this is one of the best you can get. Just do not know about the taste.

Overall: 3/5 - The spiciness is a challenge. It is too spicy enough to make you in tears and running nose. As for the seafood, not fresh at all. Maybe should opt for a chicken instead.

Overall: 3/5 - Very tasty indeed. Now I know what they are good at to get so many customers there.

The customers coming and go. All of them are tourists. Overall, I think if you want to save money and just want to keep your stomach full regardless how it taste like, this is one of the restaurant you should consider.

Hawker Center @Jalan MacAlister, Penang

What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Merlion Park, Singapore

Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Sunday is just perfect day at Singapore! Of course, if you plan to eat their buffets, Sunday will be not a suitable day as it will be super expensive. Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. To get close and personal with the King of Fruit...the accommodation charges will be Deluxe Villa is charged at RM280/night and standard villa will cost you RM180/night. Kedai Kopi Lotus, Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. Kedai Kopi Melanian, Kota Kinabalu

Last year I had a disappointing experience of Sheng Rou Mian at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang  so this year I was pretty determined to find a better Sheng Rou Mian for redemption. To my surprise, I was able to find one which is just located few streets away from  Kedai Kopi Jia Siang  which is known as Kedai Kopi Melanian. By the way, Sheng Rou Mian means raw meat noodle. Do not get panic by thinking that I am introducing you eating a raw pork.  The pork is fresh and thinly slice and mix with flour before cook. So to make the texture as if you are having a raw pork. I find that people in Kota Kinabalu always having noodle for their breakfast. A lot of noodle stalls are opened early in the morning. Their noodle is fantastic! The noodle is springy and tangy as if the noodle is jumping inside your mouth. The mixture of the sauces are perfectly done. The noodle alone is already scrumptious. My Japanese cuisine addiction has reached Kota Kinabalu. Nagasaki Japanese Restaurant is the place to help me to cure it.  Japanese restaurants in Kota Kinabalu has limited choices to compare with Klang Valley so Nagasaki is one of the famous Japanese restaurant in Kota Kinabalu.  Sashimi Moriawase @RM40.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - 4 types of fish given which are tuna, salmon, yellowtail and butter fish. Have you seen a food court which is as huge as this? They really have 101 stalls in there and that's why it is called Premier 101 Food Court. In Kuching, there are other 2 food courts running a similar style like this. The "wok hei" is just perfect even though they ran out of oysters. My sister does not eat oysters anyway so it is perfect for her. So she had 80% of it and I am happy she did.
