Chillout, Soulout & Freakout

I admit I am a lazy bum that very hard to get up early especially to catch the sunrise because I usually get an upset like this where the sun covers by a thick cloud like this. Well, what to do but just grabbing a seat and wait...I do not want to carry my disappointment back to my bed. And...finally, my long waited sun is revealing itself within the clouds to give me this great scenery. There are so many chalets especially when you are at Long Beach . The competitive prices between these chalets eventually gives us as a traveler the best advantage. Panorama Chalets stands out the most among all for me. Please do not expect their room to be super comfortable and has a very nice bathroom for you. No, this chalet does not score that. RM75/night for a queen size bed, hot shower and free dinner...that's the catching point. At first, I thought their free dinner should be something which is fixed and most likely are selected cheap food. I thought I want to skip this free stuff but in the end I decided to give it a try to reduce my travel expenses. To my surprise, we are allowed to choose anything from their menu except their BBQ session. When I say anything, really means ANYTHING! Wide selection of choices which I thought is a scam! After staying so many days at the calm and relaxing Pulau Perhentian Besar , I am started to feel kind of bored. I wanted to feel the nightlife on an island so I was advised to head to the Pulau Perhentian Kecil. There are two beaches here which are Long Beach and Coral Bay. Right now I am heading to Long Beach by a water taxi which cost me RM25/pax. The first impression I had when put my first step on this beach my feeling is WOW! Truly different concept! This beach is so much happening. You can rent this big umbrella for your sunbathing. This is something you don't see at Pulau Perhentian Besar definitely! Now, you need to understand where you are.  Lots of cafe and restaurants here for you to pick! You will be spoiled with the choices you have here. There are snorkeling gear for you to rent at RM5 - RM10 depending to the season. But the problem is too many boats along this beach, it is very dangerous for you to snorkel here. Continuing from my previous post ...This is the second part of my Jungle Trekking adventure. The route is from Perhentian Island Resort to Teluk Dalam. There is a junction like this to direct you to Teluk Dalam. Jungle trekking started! Let's finish this adventure! A lot of monitor lizards in this island. Please do not feel afraid to see them because they are more afraid that you are. Here is the Teluk Dalam and as you can see the beach is very small. Not much spaces for you to do any beach activities here. So you can only sunbathing in front of your own chalet.  Please watch out anchors like this when you walk along this beach. It is like a booby trap and you might get a deep cut on your leg. You do not want this to spoil your holiday mood. Actually not the boatmen to be blamed for this. This beach is really really small.
