Komugi Cafe @Paradigm Mall

I still remember when I was a kid, a bakery in my concept is a place selling a lot of kinds of buns and bread. Some bakery shops will serve fresh egg tarts. However, one thing should not to be missed is all sorts of colorful birthday cakes. Really amazing to me already! Today, the new era has evolved a simple bakery into selling all kinds of new things such as macaroons, puddings, cheese tarts and many more! One of them is Komugi Cafe.
A team of Japanese pastry chefs bake everything daily to ensure you enjoy only the freshest delights, all made from premium ingredients flown fresh from Japan. Indulge in signature creations like Japanese Bread, Hanjuku Cheese, Namachoco Sand, Creamy Custard Krone and Cookie Cream Puffs. With over 150 items to choose from, you can bring home a simple, all-natural, oven-fresh slice of Japan, baked daily for your pleasure. As for me, I only chose what is suggested by the bakery as best sellers.
Here they are from the left is Toyohashi Pudding which is known as Egg Pudding is the best among all. Second is the Hanjuku Cheese which does not need you to bite at all as it will slowly melts into your mouth. Very suitable for old people and who has diabetes as the sugar level is low. They have another new flavor which is a Chocolate Hanjuku Cheese which is sweeter. The last one is the Hokkaido Cheese Tart which is not recommended to you all because it is quite queasy after the first bite.

Price: 2/5
Overall: 4/5 - It contains of cashew meringue, Mascarpone cream, honey balsamic cream served with white chocolate dipped vanilla Magnum topped with freeze dried raspberries and fresh strawberries. My suggestion is to mix them all together including the ice cream itself otherwise by eating the ice cream alone will be too sweet. Once you mixed them all together, the magic comes. The sensational taste of creamy, crunchy, a little sourish kick and sweetness combining all together to create a wonderful ice cream dessert. Definitely is a must order dessert when you are there.

Overall: 3/5 - It is also known as their signature Symphony of Starters, which takes you across the breadth of Indochinese cuisine with Vietnamese shrimp crystal rolls, lemongrass prawns, Cambodian-style deep-fried shrimp cakes and minced chicken on cinnamon sticks. All served with a variety of piquant sauces. The plate is just nice for 2 pax but the price is too expensive for that small portion.

Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - If you think that coconut soup should be a milky soup, then you are wrong. This is a chicken tomyam clear soup with coconut meat in it. Very delicious and creative way to make it. The coconut meat is the highlight of the entire soup. It just gave the soup an extra coconut fragrance in it and of course, they are edible. Do not worry, the soup is not too spicy.
