Tanjung Bidara, Melaka

Melaka is just next to the Malacca Straits but they does not have a beach. The nearest beach is more than 40 minutes away from the city which is known as Tanjung Bidara. I was there to check out the sunset. 
No really a huge beach to do some private activities but it is enough to make the locals happy with their one and only beach.
You can see far ahead there are large ships around so you can imagine the sea color here is in grey.
There is a small stream rushing out from the inland to the sea. The stream here is pretty deep and the water rushing out quite strongly.
She is enjoying her moments while I enjoying mine too.
Unfortunately, the clouds are too thick to disappoint me. No sunset photo this time but I am glad I was here.

I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. Kampua is the most famous local delicacies in Sibu. It is as famous as Kolok Mee at Kuching. For your information, both Kampua and Kolok Mee are almost the same. It is just different dialect to translate the word of "dry noodle". Kampua is from Foochow and Kolok Mee is from Hokkien.  Another difference is the way they prepare them. Kampua has 3 type of sauces to accompany to dry noodle which are soy sauce, white sauce and spicy sauce. While Kolok Mee has only 2 type of sauces which are red sauce and white sauce. This will be the longest ever post which is meant for celebrating my blog 3rd anniversary. This post is about an evolution from a traditional farm to a commercialize farm which has becoming a trend in Malaysia. Malaysia is a country which is having most of their export through plantation. Many plantation owner has diversified their farm into a tourist location. A good example is this UK Farm which is located at Air Hitam, a town off Kluang. Have you ever visited a restaurant which is highly recommended by a tv programme? This is my first time and the restaurant name is Heun Kee Claypot Chicken Rice. This restaurant is recommended by Axian (阿贤) in "Taste with Jason" Programme. I like this restaurant is they really 100% using charcoal to make their claypot rice. So the waiting for the claypot rice will take a while. It is best to call them 45 minutes earlier before your arrival so you will reduce your waiting time especially to those who has limited lunch time to spend. Yay! Same like last year, I have my Elayne jie to celebrate my birthday. Not Japanese cuisine like usual but it is a more exciting one. A fast food chain restaurant selling pork burger. Unlike the Ninja Joe type of pork burger, this is more like an Asian style. The restaurant name is called Tai Lei Loi Kei. Self-service restaurant like any other famous fast food chain restaurant like McDonalds and KFC. This restaurant is originated from Macau, China. It has already opened 3 chain restaurants in KL. The workers are Myanmar but the cashiers are from China. It does not need to study a rocket science to know a restaurant which is meant to bait the tourist but somehow I still ended up in there. The place is called Restoran Ocean King Seafood. Pretty frustrated for me at that time. Very nice red carpet ready to bait you in. This restaurant is built on top of the sea. They have their own "Kelong" type of aquarium to rear their own fishes and other sea creatures. Look at their fish is so real big! I always never get to order fish because fish is just too big for us who always having two pax to dine all the time. Sea snails which later you will see them on my plate. Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street.
