Cameron Highlands has almost the same climate like the famous Genting Highlands. Of course, Genting Highlands is colder. Well, about food...Genting Highlands is already well known with the food that is not just expensive and also not delicious as well. However in some part of Cameron Highlands, you still able to find some cheaper food especially at the Tanah Rata area.

I found Restoran May Flower which is a steamboat restaurant and also serves ala-carte Chinese style cuisine. We only spent RM16.00/pax for our steamboat. It was a real good deal.

We were all so full that day and very impressed that we still able to find some cheap food here at Cameron Highlands. The food was not bad at all. You can choose between clear soup or Tom Yam Soup or both together. I like the Tom Yam based soup the best.

I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. Now dining in the nature is started to be a trend lately. A lot of restaurants started to build inside the greenery. One of them is Fish Farm Thai Restaurant which is originally just a vegetable farm, fish farm and poultry farm has started to serve food in here as you can see from the picture above. People now just wish to escape away from the busy and polluted city just to have a nice peaceful meal.  All their food resources are mostly from their own. So there is no issue about freshness. This restaurant is a Thai restaurant which is specialized in seafood. Their employees are mostly from Thailand too. It is quite hard to communicate with them when you are trying to ask something else from the menu. I hope the restaurant owner will look into this. By the appearance of it, Restoran Yu Hing definitely doesn't look appealing enough to become a tourist spot for you as your dining choice. However, I am still going to introduce to you their noodle. They do serve other variety of food but something worth to be here is only their noodle which is known as Beaufort Fried Noodle. Beaufort is a name of a town in Sabah. This is their very own local delicacies which you won't find it easily at any part of Malaysia or even Sabah. You have to be either in Kota Kinabalu or Beaufort to experience it. Driving a go cart like a F1 driver before? I always dream about this and doing it together with my  sister  who is lack of adventurous gene in her. So lately Dealmates  is offering a great deal to experience such feel in a F1 circuit alike! This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh, Kota Kinabalu

There are two best bak kut teh in Kota Kinabalu that I have known so far. One is known as Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh  and the other one is known as Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh. There are just located one street away from each other. However, both of them got the same jam packed customers as you can see from the picture above. You just cannot detect any available seat around. This is how good they are. The one and only chef in action to prepare the whole bak kut teh to all the patrons. The surprising part is the serving speed was extremely fast. Usually when you see so many people, you might think you will need to wait for quite some time but he can make sure you will get your food at the fastest speed. These are the prices after GST is imposed.  They do have other dishes to serve too apart of their famous Bak Kut Teh.
