Interestingly dining at China...that's what I want to bring to you about in this post. The location is at Qingyuan which is a northern part of Guangzhou. The restaurant name is called 湘村馆. The interesting part is the food they served and how to eat.

This looks like a normal Pork Bone Soup but the way to eat is not.
You will be given a pair of of gloves and a straw. That's what you will do to suck the bone marrow. Delicious!
A lamb stick? This lamb stick is done very thoughtfully by cover the end with a wrapper for you to hold and eat without staining your fingers. Very delicious with a spicy kick in it. Truly a different experience to eat a lamb.
When you are in China, you really have to order a plate of vegetable. Any vegetable will do because their vegetable is very fresh , sweet and juicy. They serve in big portion in cheaper price. You will definitely not able to find the same taste in Malaysia.

It is my day with my little princess, Ying Ying. She is getting cuter every single day. We had our own sweet time at Coliseum Cafe & Grill Room. This restaurant has been operating since 1921 and this is the first time after 92 years, they started to branch out their restaurant to Plaza 33 and Mid Valley. This restaurant has clinched Malaysia Book of Records award for the "Longest Operating Western Colonial - Themed Restaurant. Their first ever restaurant is at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.  It is not easy to sustain this long. They surely has their uniqueness in their menu to keep their customers happy. One of the reason is they are pork free restaurant. This easily encourage Malay citizens which stands more than 70% in Malaysia to enjoy western food in this restaurant. Seafood is very common food to eat especially we are having a trip to a beach or an island. So I got to know a restaurant which is recognized by Singapore U channel as the No.1 seafood restaurant. The restaurant name is called Restoran Jade Garden Seafood Corner which is located 30 minutes away from the Desaru beach. This is a small village called Kampung Sungai Rengit. You will find a lot of seafood restaurants around here and this restaurant is one of them. This is the display of their signature dish. A lot of their signatures dish is got to do with lobsters. So you will see a large amount of lobsters here but this is not all of it. Here is another HUGE bucket of lobsters. Feel kinda pity with them all of the sudden. This time I am going to take you all to a high class Malay restaurant which is known as Songket. However, it is going to be a disappointing one. First thing when I want to make an order, I saw a rat at a palm size running around at their drink counter. The waiter saw it and smile at me. LOL. His gesture makes me think that it is normal. Second thing, their drink menu is quite boring because of limited choices. Nasi Minyak @RM6.00++ - Very delicious but quite expensive for just a rice. Stone Forest, Shilin, Kunming.

Many people asked me what is there in Kunming, honestly, I will say nothing. It is just a city with a dirty lake called Dianchi Lake. The locals love there though but you really do not wish to waste your flight ticket, accommodation and time for that. Trust me. The best part of Kunming is located 82km away which is a town named Shilin.  Kunming Stone Forest, Shilin in Chinese, is a spectacular set of limestone groups and the representative of south China’s karst landscape. Known since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) as the 'First Wonder of the World', it is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan. An old local goes that if you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time. What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. My love with the Thai food never fades even I have left Thailand for 4 months already. I wanted to refresh my memories on the beauty of Thai food so I took the chance at Thai Thai restaurant which is located at Sunway Pyramid. The design not really Thai style but makes me remember about Ben's General Food Store who is using the same sets of chair as well. Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. You will never know time flies when you are having those things at the waiting area. Something that Sushi Zanmai needs to consider. Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm.  Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it.
