湘村馆, Qingyuan

Interestingly dining at China...that's what I want to bring to you about in this post. The location is at Qingyuan which is a northern part of Guangzhou. The restaurant name is called 湘村馆. The interesting part is the food they served and how to eat.

This looks like a normal Pork Bone Soup but the way to eat is not.
You will be given a pair of of gloves and a straw. That's what you will do to suck the bone marrow. Delicious!
A lamb stick? This lamb stick is done very thoughtfully by cover the end with a wrapper for you to hold and eat without staining your fingers. Very delicious with a spicy kick in it. Truly a different experience to eat a lamb.
When you are in China, you really have to order a plate of vegetable. Any vegetable will do because their vegetable is very fresh , sweet and juicy. They serve in big portion in cheaper price. You will definitely not able to find the same taste in Malaysia.

At first, I always got confused with Hang Mua Mountain and Mua Cave. My initial plan is to climb the mountain and all the information I got in the internet is to direct me Mua Cave. After few readings, I finally understand that "Hang" means cave in Vietnamese. So Hang Mua Mountain and Mua Cave is the same place. If you are riding a bike to get here, there are many scam trying to stop you earlier for you to park your motorbike at their place with charges. Don't stop. It is quite expensive for just hiking. There is a reason to this. They decorated the entire way from the entrance to the foot of the hill. Warakuya Japanese Garden, Mount Austin

I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. You will never know time flies when you are having those things at the waiting area. Something that Sushi Zanmai needs to consider. Perfume Pagoda Boat Tour, Huong Son

The Huong Pagoda is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. It is the site of a religious festival which draws large numbers of pilgrims from across Vietnam. The center of the Huong Temple lies in Huong Son Commune, Mỹ Đức District, former Hà Tây Province (now Hanoi). The center of this complex is the Perfume Temple, also known as Chua Trong (Inner Temple), located in Huong Tich Cave. The boat tour including the entrance fee is 100,000vnd. There is an optional cost for the cable car which will take you to Huong Tich Cave. The price is 100,000vnd per person per way or 160,000vnd per person round trip. If you are not rushing and you have the stamina to hike up and down, you can save this cost. Here I am at Kedai Kopi Yee Fung for their famous laksa. I find it very interesting is to see a small country like Malaysia can have different kind of way to make their laksa at each different state. I make my point here to find out how does a Sabah Laksa is actually like. Yee Fung Teh Tarik (cold) @RM2.50 - I like milk but this is just too much milk for me. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! Ham Rong Mountain is located close to the center of Sa Pa Town and its elevation is the lowest point in the South of 1,450m, the highest is 1,850m. Topography with an average slope angle of about 30 degrees. Ham Rong is surrounded by many different types of mountains, evergreen forests with other broadleaf trees. With the height of the top, there have almost no more trees, sporadic bamboo mountain and wind of dust. From the top, you will get to see the whole Sapa town. It is an amazing scenery to be at. Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm.  Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it. Getting to Brunei from Labuan and Kota Kinabalu

From Kota Kinabalu to get to Brunei can be done from air, sea and land. From land, there is a bus from Inanam Bus Terminal to Brunei at 8.00am which cost you RM100. The journey is 8 hours and there is one stop for lunch at Lawas. Same thing if you are from Brunei to Kota Kinabalu, the bus will depart at 8.00am at B$45.00. Alternatively, you can take a ferry to Brunei which is also depart at 8.00am. However, there is a transit at Labuan for 2 hours. The total journey is 6 hours to reach jetty and additional 1 hour to reach Bandar Seri Bengawan. You probably will save 1 hour if to compare with a bus ride. RM68.60 for an all inclusive ferry fare for a Malaysian. Malaysian will get 50% discount off for the jetty fee only.
