Satay Malaysia, Kota Bahru

Satay Malaysia is a very famous satay in Kota Bahru like our famous Satay Kajang at Klang Valley area. Located beside the main road of Jalan Pengkalan Chepa, quite easily being spotted as it is located at the right side when you are coming out from Kota Bahru.
Their satay station.
Air Bandung is one of the famous drink in Kota Bahru. It is a must have drink in their menu in every restaurants in Kota Bahru.
I still prefer a Milo Dinosaur which is something I can find in most of the restaurants in Klang Valley. The drinks here are quite expensive like in Klang Valley.
Satay 10 Pieces Set @RM11.50
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - The chicken meat is well made and very nicely done when mixed together with their hot satay sauce. The sauce is refillable by yourself. I ordered another 10 pieces after this. However, it is not a cheap satay when it is cost RM0.80 per stick.

Overall: 3/5 - Once my favourite food back in my college days. I just missed the taste of it and this does not disappoint me. Not a bad one but is not a must order.

Laici Kang @RM3.00 - This is a famous local dessert which is also must have in the menu in every restaurants. However, i feel nothing special about this dessert but just a lot of ice cube with sweet syrup in it.
This whole place is the Satay Station and I am highly recommended you to drop by just for their satay. It is really good if you do not mind the price. Take away is acceptable too! One thing I dislike this restaurant is they got a lot of flies! They have nothing to stop the flies. So the hygiene is really a questionable issue.
Total Damage: RM33.00

Service: 3/5
Food Serving Speed: Moderate

Overall: 4/5 - It contains of cashew meringue, Mascarpone cream, honey balsamic cream served with white chocolate dipped vanilla Magnum topped with freeze dried raspberries and fresh strawberries. My suggestion is to mix them all together including the ice cream itself otherwise by eating the ice cream alone will be too sweet. Once you mixed them all together, the magic comes. The sensational taste of creamy, crunchy, a little sourish kick and sweetness combining all together to create a wonderful ice cream dessert. Definitely is a must order dessert when you are there.

Overall: 3/5 - It is also known as their signature Symphony of Starters, which takes you across the breadth of Indochinese cuisine with Vietnamese shrimp crystal rolls, lemongrass prawns, Cambodian-style deep-fried shrimp cakes and minced chicken on cinnamon sticks. All served with a variety of piquant sauces. The plate is just nice for 2 pax but the price is too expensive for that small portion.

Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - If you think that coconut soup should be a milky soup, then you are wrong. This is a chicken tomyam clear soup with coconut meat in it. Very delicious and creative way to make it. The coconut meat is the highlight of the entire soup. It just gave the soup an extra coconut fragrance in it and of course, they are edible. Do not worry, the soup is not too spicy.
