Pulau Gaya, Tunku Abdul Rahman Park

Pulau Gaya is one of the five islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. The others will be Pulau Manukan, Pulau Sapi, Pulau Mamutik and Pulau Sulug. Pulau Gaya is the biggest island among the others.
Preparation and gearing up before heading our dive site.
We can start to see the three islands which are big enough to be visible at this distance. They are Pulau SapiPulau Manukan and Pulau Gaya.
This is the jetty point for Pulau Gaya.

Welcome to Pulau Gaya. This is one of the jetty called the Padang Point.
This is a great view capturing the jetty, the sea and the beach.
There are charges for these island but most of this charges has already included in your snorkelling trip or diving trip.
Fried Kuey Tiaw - A little too oily which makes me hard to swallow.
Chicken Cashew Nuts with Rice - Chicken meat is a little too hard which took me more time to chew.
Basically the food in the island is pretty poor and very hard to enjoy. Just eat for the sake of curing your hunger but not to eat with the hope of it to be delicious
Pulau Gaya has 3 large resorts on the island. It is one of the few islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park with accommodation on it. The other one is at Pulau Manukan which has only one resort. As for Pulau Sapi and Pulau Mamutik, there are only camping site which is cost RM10/night (not inclusive the tent rental). As for Pulau Sulug, there is nothing there. There were once a resort was built in the island. After some tough competition, they have closed down.
Most of the dive sites will be at Pulau SapiPulau Sulug, Pulau Gaya and small parts in Pulau Mamutik.
And they are this close.
