Ah Fu Satay, Kluang

A spoiler before moving on to Kota Kinabalu trip. I always wanted to blog this place which is known as Ah Fu Satay. This is a hawker center and always known as Ah Fu Satay instead of their own hawker center name.
Usually we may only see one of these BBQ place for the satay unless you are in Kajang but in Kluang, we need it too! Just to supply our high demand.
What they are famous with is they sell pork satay!
Pork Satay @RM0.60/pc, Mutton Satay @RM0.60/pc and Ketupat @RM1.00/pc
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Their pork satay is the best. The mutton is a little too hard to bite. Skip this satay if you have to. Ketupat is so so but just a little too expensive.

Otak-otak @RM0.70/pc - lack of fish taste and it is quite expensive after they hike up their price recently.
A Portuguese grill will be the next.
Stingray here I come!
The chef for the Portuguese grill who is preparing the base before putting the main ingredient on top of it.
He is a funny uncle who keeps trying to crack some cold jokes with us. I wonder if he really cook like this or he is pretending to be very professional in front of the camera.
Steadily fold them up for them to cook for a while.
I like a Portuguese grill that is using a banana leaf rather than foiling coil. This will increase the fragrance into the fish!

Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 5/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - It is really delicious. I like the sauce all over the stingray. It is really delicious and I hardly can describe with words how does the sauce taste like. It is for you to explore. The stingray itself is fresh and delicious too.

Moving on to our next food agenda which is the fried oyster.
There is only one size of fried oyster which is the RM8.00.
Putting the final important ingredients on top of it.
Fried Oyster @RM8.00

Overall: 4/5 - Absolutely must try! The only place I will have big prawns together with big oysters in one plate. Really delicious when both of them taste fresh. I wish they have a bigger portion than this!

The crowds here are overwhelming too. This is only the weekdays. If on the weekends, do not just say you will have hard time to find a seat here, you will have a hard time to find a parking too!
