Fook Hai Food Centre, Lutong

In Miri, there are Kolok Mee too. My Elayne jie recommended me Fook Hai Food Centre for their Kolok mee. Even though the location is a bit far away from the Miri town but I just have to make this trip because I wanted to see the difference between Kuching Kolok Mee and a Miri Kolok Mee which there are 16 hours apart.

Kolok Mee @RM2.50
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5 - I really like the fragrance of the sesame oil mixed together with the tangy noodle. Really delicious. You have to eat them fast because the sesame oil will dried up within seconds in the noodle which will cause the noodle to dry to eat and swallow. Taste really awful. They do not come with a plain soup for you to wet the noodle a little. To me, both Kuching and Miri Kolok Mee are equally nice so nothing to distinctively differentiate both of them.

The fierce looking boss who is very confident with his Kolok Mee.
This is the place and highly recommended if you past the usual lunch hour of 2.00pm. They still opens. The only problem is there are not in Miri, they consider a smaller town called Lutong. You may need to travel about 20-30 mins depend to your speed and the traffic. FYI, the traffic in Miri is very bad especially in the early morning where the working packs go to work, lunch hour time and off hour time. These 3 sessions are the heavy jam sessions. Try to avoid these sessions to join together with them.
