Ichiban Cuisine, Kluang

Apart of Sushi King, Ichiban Cuisine is another Japanese cuisine in Kluang. It was like a "Fear Factor" to me to have a Japanese food in Kluang. Well, I have to try it no matter what since I known of this place for quite some time and still surviving until now surely has its secret which I believe.

Overall: 3/5 - The soft shell crab is still hot and it is delicious when you eat something is still hot. but the seaweed wrapper is not crunchy enough.

Taste: 2/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 3/5 - Apart of Inari Sushi, there is no other sushi which taste right. The hotate is still hot and this is the first time I had a still hot sushi. Not that bad.

Unagi Don @RM14.90
Outlook: 2/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 2/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - The unagi is bad. The rice is definitely not Japanese rice. So not right in this dish.

Cold Cha Soba @RM7.90
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 1/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - The soba is definitely is already ready days before. The sauce is terribly done and does not really blend with the soba. No additional things to add into the sauce except the wasabi and the small amount of onion.

I really wonder how they survive so long with such a standard. Luckily they did not provide Sashimi which they are not afford to do so.
Total Damage: RM47.20
Ambiance: 3/5
Service: 3/5
Food Serving Speed: Slow
Will I Revisit? No
