Masjid Kristal, Kuala Terengganu

Honestly but no offense, Kuala Terengganu itself is quite a boring place which it can be much more boring than Kota Bahru. Some of the locals told me that, they rather travel to Kota Bahru to spend their weekends rather staying at Kuala Terengganu. Not much of the tourist spot unless you are planning to travel to their famous islands which are Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang. Of course, there are much more other island than that which you travel from the Kuala Terengganu jetty.

The only tourist spot available at Kuala Terengganu which is the Masjid Kristal. Masjid in English is known as mosque which is the sacred place for the Muslim to say their prayers. This Masjid Kristal is the only mosque which has a light on it which changes its color at night. Somehow you will feel they are made of crystal. That's how the name comes from.

Masjid Kristal is open for public to visit and take pictures with free of charge. Of course, we need to give our full respect by behaving ourselves when we are within the compound. Do not litter, do not make noise and do not act something which is humiliating the religion. The mosque is located on a small island called Pulau Wan Man. This island is located along the Sungai Terengganu river. There are river cruise available in the morning with charges by per head to bring you along this river and to visit the Muslim monuments.

My old schoolmates were together with me to witness the great structure. All of us are here for the first time.
I need a wide angle lens to capture the whole building of this.
There were prayers going on and we were not sure if we can enter the mosque at that time. So it is safe rather not to do something bold.
Somehow I able to capture the whole building with my lens.
Let's capture some pictures and go...
Not good in the lighting...sorry...because I am not sure if flash is allowed here.
Poor pictures. Should get a tripod ready instead.
Alright...last photo and off we go.
