Food at Guangzhou are full of variety which you will never get bored. Everyone compete with each other to make the best food in the market and so does 才福面家. Incredibly making noodle themselves and selling it very cheap. Their specialty is their Yee Mee.

Pork Wan Tan  Yee Mee (Soup)
Their Yee Mee is different with what we have in Malaysia. It is more to like a Udon type of mee.

I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. There are two best bak kut teh in Kota Kinabalu that I have known so far. One is known as Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh  and the other one is known as Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh. There are just located one street away from each other. However, both of them got the same jam packed customers as you can see from the picture above. You just cannot detect any available seat around. This is how good they are. The one and only chef in action to prepare the whole bak kut teh to all the patrons. The surprising part is the serving speed was extremely fast. Usually when you see so many people, you might think you will need to wait for quite some time but he can make sure you will get your food at the fastest speed. By the appearance of it, Restoran Yu Hing definitely doesn't look appealing enough to become a tourist spot for you as your dining choice. However, I am still going to introduce to you their noodle. They do serve other variety of food but something worth to be here is only their noodle which is known as Beaufort Fried Noodle. Beaufort is a name of a town in Sabah. This is their very own local delicacies which you won't find it easily at any part of Malaysia or even Sabah. You have to be either in Kota Kinabalu or Beaufort to experience it. That day my dream comes true when I finally able to have my tea time at TWG Tea with my two beloved ladies in my life. Yay! I always meet my Elayne jie whenever I am at KL. Sometimes I feel I am going to make her very bored already but I just love to find her even we do not have to talk a lot. Back to the topic, this is the menu of what you will see from the entrance. They do not just serve tea and bread only. They do serve western meal too but I prefer this place for a great tea time because of their exquisite outlook and comfortable seating. A tea book. What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! When you are in Melaka, searching for Nyonya food or Peranakan food is very common. When you have local who stayed there for more than 20 years like my uncle who recommended me the best Nyonya food in Melaka, you just have to trust him. So he brought me to this place called Restoran Nyonya Makko. This is the place. Located at the corner lot so it is quite easily to be seen. Their main entrance. Very traditional way of the design. Now dining in the nature is started to be a trend lately. A lot of restaurants started to build inside the greenery. One of them is Fish Farm Thai Restaurant which is originally just a vegetable farm, fish farm and poultry farm has started to serve food in here as you can see from the picture above. People now just wish to escape away from the busy and polluted city just to have a nice peaceful meal.  All their food resources are mostly from their own. So there is no issue about freshness. This restaurant is a Thai restaurant which is specialized in seafood. Their employees are mostly from Thailand too. It is quite hard to communicate with them when you are trying to ask something else from the menu. I hope the restaurant owner will look into this.
