New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice @Sri Petaling

Image
We all love Nga Choi Gai @Ipoh but what happened when you feel like eating it but you are at KL? You can't be driving up for 3++ hours journey just for it right? Luckily there is a franchise Nga Choi Gai restaurant in KL which is called New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice. Once again, I brought my sister's mom who is famous for her choosy in food. Another mission impossible for me...hahaha Umbra Sour Plum Juice @RM4.80++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 1/5 Overall: 2/5 - I really like the taste at first but when I received the bill, I realized how freaking expensive for a small drink like this! Curry Noodle @RM2.50++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Must order! Very delicious with reasonable price. Victoria Station @Jalan Ampang

Image
To me, The Ship and Victoria Station are just the same. They are hardly able to be distinguished. The Ship is using ship as their restaurant concept while Victoria Station are using railway station as their restaurant design. Both of them are famous for their steak and their pricing is about the same. Sometimes I really wonder if they are brother sister company. Anyway, let's try their steak first. 2 platforms with 2 trains which you can sit inside and dine! Obviously better than dining inside our  KTM Train . This is the train at Platform 1. Yup, we are at Victoria Station everybody! Complimentary bread! Yummy! Fresh Honeydew Milk Chef Recommendation: Air Flown Ribeye Steak (Medium Raw) Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 4/5 - The price of the beef is calculated by its weight. So the price may be vary. The meat is wonderful. According to my girl since she is the one who can eat beef, the meat melting slowly in her mouth and

Kampachi Japanese Restaurant, Pavillion KL

Image
Since Kampachi in my earlier post has been one of my popular post for a very long time, so I will share more about Kampachi but this time will be in a different place (Pavillion KL) with different people ( my sister ). Yup, there she is. After "abducted" her from her college and make her change into a new clothes by ZARA . LOL Sencha Okuseto @RM12.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - Cannot compare with those normal RM2.00/cup because they put real tea leaves inside the pot which we refilled it for 5 times and still taste the same. Actually not I want to refill it that much, it was my sister's idea of "recovering" the cost. Cute eh? Haha... Nigiri @RM150.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - You will love every each bite of the sushi because the meat is thick! However, I believe at Sushi Zanmai  you probably only need to pay for RM30.00++ for this same plate of dish. Ca

The Ship @Jalan Sultan Ismail, KL

Image
The Ship is one of the oldest steakhouse in Malaysia. So expectation on them are truly high. They are creative enough to decorate the whole restaurant like an old warship concept. Their waiter/waitress dressed like a sailor and their managers dressed like captains.  They have other branches in Bukit Bintang, Pertama Kompleks, Petaling Jaya, Batu Feringghi (Penang) and Sri Bahari (Penang) Complimentary bread Complimentary Salad Escargots Bourguinonne Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: N/A Overall: 3/5 - Escargot is a sea snail. Maybe when you heard of snail you might already say NO to it. Let me assured you that, if a chef in the restaurant knows how to cook it well, it can be extremely delicious. Trust me. But The Ship does not make it that way. So you can skip it if you like. A close shot on how you eat the escargot. Sizzling Chicken Fillet Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: N/A Overall: 3/5 - Please have your handkerchief

The Apartment @The Curve

There were once I was asked, how come I am so rich can go to a lot of different restaurants to dine? I was stunned with such a question. It is not I do not know how to answer but it is just curious why this question I never ask myself? Well, I can give an answer to anyone of you who have the same question now which is sad but grateful that human is born to eat and sleep. Therefore, everyday we MUST find food to eat either we like it or not. Plus, I am not local and I am not fancy to cook my own food either so I have a higher desire than anyone in seeking food. You may one day get sicked of those warung , hawker stall and food court who served the same food with a so-so taste. Therefore, I have to explore and hunt for other great food with all sort of varieties. Yes, I might have to spend a lot by doing that. Well, some people earn to shop while I earn to eat..that's all. Anyway, let's move on as you already know that we are all born to eat and sleep - fact of life. This t

Ying Ker Lou, The Gardens Mall

Image
After my sister and I somehow being "cheated" to Hakka Republic which is not a Hakka cuisine, I am not giving up the hope to find real Hakka cuisine. Finally, I found Ying Ker Lou which is located at The Gardens. This time to make sure they really served 100% Hakka cuisine, we demand the waitress to show us their menu. After double confirm, we agreed they served Hakka cuisine. Not all Hakka cuisines are healthy foods but today I am going to present to you all only healthy Hakka cuisine. Some example of other unhealthy Hakka cuisine foods are Layered Pork, Pork Knuckle with ginger, Fried Pork Belly and many more. From the words itself you already know how unhealthy they are. Hakka Pounded Tea @RM14.90++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - This is Hakka's famous vegetarian dish. There is rice beneath all the vegetables. You can choose either brown rice or white rice. It taste good but the price is too expensive as you can have

Hakka Republic @Menara Hap Seng

Image
Chinese is a combination of a lot of subgroups such as Hakka, Cantonese, Hokkien, Hainanese, Teochew and other smaller subgroups. My sister and I are Hakka also known as Han people. A lot of other well-known people such  Sun Yat-sen ,  Lee Kuan Yew  and  Chow Yun-Fat  are Hakka as well. So being a Hakka, we need to learn to speak Hakka and eat Hakka cuisine. I am not good at speaking so I prefer just to eat. LOL. Therefore, my sister and I proceed our journey to find good Hakka cuisine and we came about a restaurant called Hakka Republic @Menara Hap Seng. We are so excited and planned a hangout as soon as possible .  Here we are and we are so excited that this Hakka restaurant served beer, cocktails and have happy hours too!!! Never know a Hakka restaurant can be this advance. With chinese wordings and chinese logo, we are so convinced that this is an authentic Hakka Restaurant. But when we read their menu after being seated, we got shocked. We cannot find any Hakka cuisine

New Zealand Natural @The Curve

Image
Today I am going to give a quick and simple review on New Zealand Natural. New Zealand Natural is an ice cream parlor. They does not have a lot of fancy flavors like Baskin-Robbins  and they do not have chocolate fondue like Haagen Dazs . So not really a lot of ice cream lovers will choose this brand. However, they have one thing which makes them special is they serve milk shake and thick shake from their ice cream. But what flavor should you choose to blend them together? I have tried a lot of experiment on this. I finally come out with a perfect match which is acknowledged by my sister, my girl and some fellow friends. Read on to find out more... Durian Flo??? I am going to try that next time. Old and young ones just love ice-cream Seems like this kid hopes to be inside the ice cream fridge Another highlight apart of the milk shake/thick shake is their juice. 100% pure juice without any artificial ingredients or preservatives. The juice machine They have tea
