Big Tree Lin Kee Steam Fish Head, Taman Connaught

After with her colleagues and always a must and a routine to dine together with her mom as well. I pretty much bored to hear them keep saying having their dinner at Peel Road, Pudu, Maluri and blah blah blah. So this time I have to bring them to the place I stayed before for almost 3 years which is Taman Connaught. I miss this place so much. A lot of memories here. Anyway, the restaurant is called Big Tree Lin Kee Steam Fish Head. They has another branch opposite this taman which is known as Taman Tayton. This is the branch.

Seeing her in an average of 2 months once with lots of difference in her looks and her life. Feel like started for not able to catch up with her already. Anyway, I still hope she is doing the best that she can in whatever she wanted to do. All the best!

Overall: 3/5 - This is one of the best dish for that night. Must order and you will not mind to eat this together with a bowl of rice only. You might get a refill soon.

Lala in Superior Soup @RM11.00

Overall: 3/5 - I am in a dilemma whether to give a 3 or 4 marks for the taste of this dish. In the end, I have decided with a 3 marks. Reason for my strict marks in this is because I have very high expectation on this restaurant. The taste of the soup is absolutely delicious with right amount of heavy herbal taste and the lala meat is quite fat for you to chew a little longer. However, I feel somehow the lala meat taste not as great as I expected. I do not feel the meat blend in together with the superior soup. Since lala is the main character in this dish, so the lala must be taken as primary attention and not the soup. Overall, it is still a good dish to go for if you are running out of idea what to order.

A closer look.

Overall: 3/5 - The assam gravy is so delicious and it is blending together with the stingray's meat. This is a big size plate. You can opt for a smaller one.

Overall: 3/5 - A little salty which it is supposed to be taste like. It is a so-so dish for me.

Signature Taufu @RM14.00

Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - This is real delicious taufu! Crispy outside and super soft inside. Super like it! Mix together with their unique Mayonnaise sauce which is not so sourish but giving the taufu another different taste to a level which you wouldn't resist. However, you might think RM1.75/finger is quite expensive. Just think again because you have to give the credit for producing such a delicious food in front of you.

Very crowded place even on weekdays. I have not much complain about this restaurant. They served good quality food and good quality service as well. I will definitely recommend to everyone and I will be back too. As you can see from their business board mentioned Chan Sow Lin Steam Fish Head, according to the boss, their HQ was at Chan Sow Lin but shifted to Taman Tayton already. I wonder why they have their branch open so close together which is just opposite the taman. Another plus point about this restaurant is even though they are crowded by their food serving speed is amazingly fast. That's how such a restaurant should be like!
