After with her colleagues and always a must and a routine to dine together with her mom as well. I pretty much bored to hear them keep saying having their dinner at Peel Road, Pudu, Maluri and blah blah blah. So this time I have to bring them to the place I stayed before for almost 3 years which is Taman Connaught. I miss this place so much. A lot of memories here. Anyway, the restaurant is called Big Tree Lin Kee Steam Fish Head. They has another branch opposite this taman which is known as Taman Tayton. This is the branch.

Overall: 3/5 - I am in a dilemma whether to give a 3 or 4 marks for the taste of this dish. In the end, I have decided with a 3 marks. Reason for my strict marks in this is because I have very high expectation on this restaurant. The taste of the soup is absolutely delicious with right amount of heavy herbal taste and the lala meat is quite fat for you to chew a little longer. However, I feel somehow the lala meat taste not as great as I expected. I do not feel the meat blend in together with the superior soup. Since lala is the main character in this dish, so the lala must be taken as primary attention and not the soup. Overall, it is still a good dish to go for if you are running out of idea what to order.

Overall: 4/5 - This is real delicious taufu! Crispy outside and super soft inside. Super like it! Mix together with their unique Mayonnaise sauce which is not so sourish but giving the taufu another different taste to a level which you wouldn't resist. However, you might think RM1.75/finger is quite expensive. Just think again because you have to give the credit for producing such a delicious food in front of you.

| Very crowded place even on weekdays. I have not much complain about this restaurant. They served good quality food and good quality service as well. I will definitely recommend to everyone and I will be back too. As you can see from their business board mentioned Chan Sow Lin Steam Fish Head, according to the boss, their HQ was at Chan Sow Lin but shifted to Taman Tayton already. I wonder why they have their branch open so close together which is just opposite the taman. Another plus point about this restaurant is even though they are crowded by their food serving speed is amazingly fast. That's how such a restaurant should be like! |
