No.1 Canteen, Sibu
Barley with nuts @RM1.50. Very interesting barley because of its nuts! However it is a little too sweet because of too much sugar. |

Overall: 3/5 - This is one of the foochow delicacies. It is hard for to describe what a bai guo is but the best to compare with is like rice cake. Quite salty to my liking but the ingredients in it is never stingy.
These are the bai guo. Hope you have a rough idea how it looks like by now. |

Overall: 4/5 - This is the best local delicacies by the FooChow. Please do not ask me what does the dish means because it is in foochow language and I have zero knowledge about this dialect. The main reason it is delicious is because of the soup itself. Thick and tasty with rich of meat taste in it. Of course you can see the ingredients are all over the bowl until you hardly see the noodle.
Relying on Google map in Sibu is disastrous because more than 40% of the road is not map in the Google map. So goes to this road. Roughly rely on the pinpoint of my location. Do not panic if you find yourself in the middle of an industrial area because you are in the right place. And this restaurant located at the corner of one of the road. They opened this restaurant inside an industrial site. Their business hours is following the industrial workers so basically starts around 7.00am and ends at 4.00pm.
