Koryo-Won @Suria KLCC

After my experience in one of their sub-branch Go-Gung Fusion at The Gardens, I planned to go to the origin which is called Koryo-Won. This is also a Korean chain restaurant which is up to compete with Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant. One thing unique about this Korean restaurant is all their food are Halal which means you will not get your marinated pork ribs or pork belly here.

When the restaurant is opened, it is their custom to hit the drum.
Side dishes are served first while waiting the BBQ being cooked.
More side dishes and fresh lettuces to wrap the delicious BBQ.
BBQ Chicken and Lamb is in progress.

Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - It is not taste that bad but if to compare with Daorae's and Bon-Ga's, this is the worst.Maybe it is because the marinated recipe is not good enough and the chicken meat itself taste kinda old.

Taste: 5/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 4/5 - This lamb is good. Same quality with the one at their sub-branch Gogung Fusion. However with such a small portion cost more than RM60.00 is just ridiculous.

Comparing their menu, this has no difference than their sub-branch but I do not understand why they have a different name. But one thing is the same is their pricing is similar expensive. You really cannot blame them as they are serving Halal food. The cost of preparing a certified Halal food is obviously higher than non-halal food.

Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Food Serving Speed: Moderate
Will I Revisit?: I still prefer a Korean cuisine with pork because I cannot eat beef.
