Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie @Taman Danau Desa

After a great experience that I have at Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, seeking a similar type of experience in another restaurant is always my next aim. After a few research and got to know that there is a sister company for Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie which is called Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie which is located at Taman Danau Desa.

Here we are, a tighter space inside the shop compare with Levain.
More varieties on their cakes!
Maccarons are available too!
Nice decoration is always their signature but I am more into Levain's.
A small area for their Patisserie and some of them are not even ready at the time of 9.30am!!! They need to do faster than that.

Overall: 4/5 - I like their bread in danish style. Very soft and crunchy. Finally there is something that is worth for me to appreciate.

I like their outdoor dining area. Very cozy and a lot of natural trees around compare with Levain.
It is very unnoticeable from the main road because they are located in the corner of a quiet street.
Parking is quite ample for me on Sunday morning with wi-fi enabled. However, I am quite disappointed with their standard and lack of varieties here. There are only 6 types of breakfast set available. I think I rather go back to Levain to have my fine breakfast.

Overall: 3/5 - It is also known as their signature Symphony of Starters, which takes you across the breadth of Indochinese cuisine with Vietnamese shrimp crystal rolls, lemongrass prawns, Cambodian-style deep-fried shrimp cakes and minced chicken on cinnamon sticks. All served with a variety of piquant sauces. The plate is just nice for 2 pax but the price is too expensive for that small portion.

Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - If you think that coconut soup should be a milky soup, then you are wrong. This is a chicken tomyam clear soup with coconut meat in it. Very delicious and creative way to make it. The coconut meat is the highlight of the entire soup. It just gave the soup an extra coconut fragrance in it and of course, they are edible. Do not worry, the soup is not too spicy.

Overall: 4/5 - It contains of cashew meringue, Mascarpone cream, honey balsamic cream served with white chocolate dipped vanilla Magnum topped with freeze dried raspberries and fresh strawberries. My suggestion is to mix them all together including the ice cream itself otherwise by eating the ice cream alone will be too sweet. Once you mixed them all together, the magic comes. The sensational taste of creamy, crunchy, a little sourish kick and sweetness combining all together to create a wonderful ice cream dessert. Definitely is a must order dessert when you are there.
