Rakuzen @Empire Shopping Gallery

Image
I may have introduced a "shocking"  Kampachi , Japanese Cuisine for you all. So this time I will lower a bit the level of the Japanese Cuisine but the quality is still that good. The Japanese Restaurant is called Rakuzen. This restaurant is the sister company with  Hokkaido Ichiba ,  Kura Japanese Restaurant ,  Zen ,  Sushi Zanmai  and  Pasta Zanmai  which means they are from the same boss. The difference is Rakuzen consider a high end Japanese Restaurant among all of them and follow by  Kura ,  Hokkaido Ichiba ,  Zen  and  Sushi Zanmai  while  Pasta Zanmai  is under different category. As you can see Super Dining Sdn Bhd has monopolizes the Japanese Restaurant market in Malaysia. That does not mean any good if the quality is not well maintained. This is the entrance of the Rakuzen Restaurant. No sushi belt available here so all orders are ala-carte basis. The dining area G...

Wild Basil, Solaris Dutamas

Image
I am not very familiar with Damansara and Hartamas area. The worst is Hartamas. By getting there I already spent 30 minutes more than usual time and using 2 unnecessary tolls. When I reached Solaris Dutamas, the parking are plenty which is just RM1.00 per entry but to get to the restaurant is extremely difficult. The place is newly built and they are some part still under construction. So there is no directory available and instruction board are not clear. We took another 15 minutes to locate this restaurant. The offer is from Everyday and the link for the coupon as below: Experience Classical Modern Western Cuisine (5 course set meal) at only RM19.90 This is very simple. Salad + Soup + Main course + Dessert + Drink = RM19.90 The 5 Course Set Meal includes: 1.  Salad of your choice : Chef’s Salad/Club’s Salad 2.  Soup of your choice : Mushroom Soup/Asparagus Soup 3.  Main Course of your choice : - Grilled Chicken with Sausage - Grilled Sirloin Steak...

Swan Lake Korean Restaurant, Sri Petaling

This will be my third time introduction on Korean food after Kyung Joo Korean Restaurant and Sweetree . Actually I am not a big fan of Korean Cuisine but just too many attractive offers brought me there. This time is by I Love Discounts .  This how you will see the shop from outside. This is the interior design of the restaurant. That is a Korean girl which I believe should be the owner. If she is, she really need to start smiling because she is just too cool sitting over there and lack of friendliness for being as a boss. There is a mini stage. Somehow just too big for the mini hi-fi. I believe they should have a live performance? Anyway, the music being played is Chinese songs. Not really suit the restaurant theme. Hmm... This is some deco of the restaurant at the near entrance. Just for display, I do not believe you can sit there. That is the stone pot. I believe that is their signature dish This is how it is served Watermelon and pear drink. This is the fi...

My  sister  and I would always like to imagine ourselves having a high tea like in the movie called My Fair Lady . To have that experience in Malaysia would be very hard to happen but it is happening when we were at Empire Shopping Gallery and we saw this boutique cafe. This is the cafe. They sell clothes too! A boutique cafe style. It was like a dream comes true for her. Hahaha... This is their BIG menu! The opening hours is from 11.00am - 10.00pm daily My sister's favourite macaron. and many other delicious looking dessert! Wow! Look at the marshmallow! I know my sister is cute but let's pay more attention to the main topic here. Hehe... Close shot on the marshmallows. So colorful and attractive. I wonder if it is for display or can be eaten. They even have a Grand Piano with an auto play function. Look at the design! They really did spend a lot of money and effort on it. Even my sister start to have the dreamy feeling from her ...

Fu Kua Restaurant @SS23, Petaling Jaya

Image
I know in this post I may have present a food that all of you may dislike. The reason I am sharing this because I find this restaurant extremely unique. A Fu Kua Restaurant - means Bitter Gourd Restaurant.  In a food we may prefer sweet, sour, salty and spicy. Bitter taste is always the last we wish to taste. But do you know how much nutrition does a single bitter gourd has? Bitter gourd contains vitamin A, B1, B2, and C. It also contains minerals like calcium, phosphorous, iron, copper and potassium. It helps purify blood tissue, enhances digestion, and stimulates the liver. Even their drinks are made from bitter gourd! Wow!!! Two whole pages of menu about Bitter Gourd. At that moment, my eyes cannot see other words except bitter gourd. LOL We ordered Bitter Gourd Juice with Apple, Bitter Gourd Juice with Pineapple and Bitter Gourd Juice with Star Fruit @RM3.50 each. All looks the same to us unless the waitress explained it for us. Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 4/5 ...
