Boh Tea Centre Sungai Palas, Brinchang
Last time my journey to Cameron Highland, I have posted a Boh Tea farm at Ringlet and now this is another Boh Tea Center at Sungai Palas, Brinchang. |
There are some points along the way you can stop by and get close and personal with the tea plantation. |
Even though you reach the guard house of the Sungai Palas Boh Tea Center but that does not mean you are near. You will still need to take another 5 minutes drive to the car park area. |
You are still not there yet even though you have parked your car so be extra patience. Only 200 meter walk to the location left. |
Let the 200 meter journey begins. |
The whole hill is covered by the tea plantation. It is really an outstanding scenery. |
The Boh Tea Center is within sight! Finally! |
But...we have a little hiking to do. Don't frown because you can find a good spot like this for an amazing photo shoot. |
Here we are, folks! On the left is the cafeteria and on the right is the tea factory. |
So we decided to grab some breakfast first but here are a notice for you to watch out when you are at this viewing platform. |
A great view from the viewing platform. |
The view of the sky having the cloud to divide into half. |
They have Tamil primary school here and also some family of the plantation workers staying here. It is like a very small village. |
They do offer cakes, breads, pastries and their own famous Boh tea for you to order. It is a self-service. |
I had a set of Bukit Cheeding Tea @RM4.50++/pax. This tea is really delicious to mix with milk. |
My auntie from London prefer this butter cake which is cost @RM3.20++/pc. |
My wife prefers Danish Chocolate Roll @RM4.80++ |
My mum loves sandwiches because with a lot delicious fillings which cost @RM6.30++ |
As for me, I prefer this Strawberry Tart @RM3.80++. I find that anything with strawberry in it at Cameron Highlands seems so fresh. |
This Butter Cheese Bun @RM3.20++ is the least favorite by all of us. Lack of butter and hardly taste the cheese in it. Anyway, I still prefer scones but they do not serve any. |
After a scrumptious breakfast, time for us to understand more about tea. |
Let's start with their history. Here is the path where you will be explained clearly about how these tea is born. There are in English and Malay language. |
More readings and old tools that is used to prepare the tea will be exhibited here. |
You need to wait about 4-7 minutes before you will have a tour guide to guide you through the factory and explain to you how does the tea works. The tour is free of charge by the way. |
While waiting for more visitors to join us, the tour guide will explain things that are exhibited here to the tourists. |
She was not explaining because we can read ourselves from the board here which available in English and Malay language. Click the photos to enlarge to read! |
Other interesting information about this tea factory. |
This place is really a nice place for a perfect photography with natural light all around you. Vivid photographer should fully take the chance to grab as many photo as you can. |
Overall, I like the scenery here which is really awesome! As for the food wise, it is not impressive. A cup of tea here would be just more than enough. |
