Datanla High Rope Course and Sliding Car, Dalat

At Dalat, it may be too boring if you are just taking photos everyday. Even you can find different location and different theme, you may end up taking the same shot. So my advice to you is take a break from the photography session and get some adrenaline rush at Datanla where you will be experience the high rope course and the South East Asia longest sliding car.
I signed this high rope course from Klook at RM57 per person instead of RM62 for their normal price. However, I have to get here by myself as there are no transportation included. Basically nothing is included except their harness rental. It is highly recommend you to bring your own drinking water and glove. To get to here, you need to take taxi or just rent a motorbike. The journey takes about less than 15 minutes to reach.
There is no time slot required and you just have to show your Klook voucher to the counter. Please do go to the toilet to release what you had to release or otherwise there is no way you can find a toilet on the tree.
After a short briefing and demonstration about the safety features, we are ready to go. They gave us a time limit of 2 hours. You can quit early but you cannot play over your time limit. However, if you are still on the course when your time limit finishes, you can continue until the end.
Don't you think the trees are extremely tall? Maybe it is because of the GoPro wide angle effect.
Ok, now on linear mode from the top. It is freaking tall right?
Let me show you my leg. Ya it is like more than 5 stories high. Take note, there is no chicken exit once you have started a course. You have to complete it no matter what.
The best part is the zip line across the valley. It is 200m long. Go and back. It is the most exciting part for me.
What is the scariest part for me is this Tarzan jump from a 15m tall platform and you need to hold the net by two hands. The jump really does need a lot of courage. It is your leap of faith. There are two courses that is having this Tarzan jump which is the black course and the red course.
They have plenty of course where the difficulty is differentiate by colors. The easiest is the white color and follow by yellow course which are meant for the kids only. Kids are not allowed to play adult course which is starts from green color and follows by orange, blue, red and black. I managed to finish all 5 courses within 2 hours with some time left. So there is no rush to finish them. You really have the time. The only challenge is your strength and stamina.
What I like about their setup is each color has their own unique challenge. For example this challenge you will only see in the red course and no any other courses. There are two challenges that is repetitive which are the zipline and the tarzan jump which I have mentioned earlier only available in red and black courses.
For me the challenge starts from blue course. The lesser the zipline you have to do, the tougher the course is. The zipline is actually relaxing instead of challenging. You do not need any strength to do a zipline. However, when a course has lesser zipline, you will need to do extra more obstacle course.
I do recommend you to start from green to black instead of vice versa. The reason is once you have tried black and red, your energy is already 80% depleted and you do not find any challenge on the other courses.
I really admire her courage and patience. She never try this kind of game at all. It is not what she likes but she is willing to try and complete every single one of them with her beautiful smile on her face.
Sometimes she did frown too. Especially at the beginning of the courses, amazingly when the course gets tougher the more smile she has. I thought she is crazy. LOL
Black course drained almost all my energy, time for me to look at the beautiful landscape first and rest. The weather is nice and chill. It is not hot at all because of the trees have already shed you well.
The last zipline to end the whole course. It was absolutely a great experience for us and I really do enjoy it. One of the best I had so far after the ESCAPE in Penang.
Let's move on and get ready to the next extreme ride which is the sliding car. Before that, do enjoy my video of this adventure below.

Experience an exhilarating tour of Datanla's natural wonders on the Datanla New Alpine Coaster! Using Wiegand technology, the coasters and tracks are engineered with a magnetic brake system that allows safe distances between cars. Sensor breaks are also installed to let riders control their speed, at the same time limiting the ride from going too fast.
With these advancements, riders can now safely tour the 2,400-meter track at their own pace! Zip through the woods and stop by the majestic Datanla Waterfalls, where you can take a photo or two. Not feeling touristy? Bask in the forest's tranquil atmosphere instead. Discover the beauty of Da Lat's natural landscape on this two-seater attraction!
I book this through Klook as well for RM24.00/pax instead of RM27.00. There are two types of sliding car at Datanla. This is the newest and the longest one which is located at the top of the hill beside the High Rope Course area.
You will stop at the middle to get down to witness the Datanla Waterfall. This yellow color waterfall doesn't look pleasing for me. Unfortunately, all the river and waterfall at Dalat are in this color. It is a shame.
Overall, do not miss this two amazing adventures which is located at Datanla. It is absolutely worth it and make your trip at Dalat more meaningful. Last but not least do enjoy my video of the sliding car below.
