At Dalat, it may be too boring if you are just taking photos everyday. Even you can find different location and different theme, you may end up taking the same shot. So my advice to you is take a break from the photography session and get some adrenaline rush at Datanla where you will be experience the high rope course and the South East Asia longest sliding car.
I signed this high rope course from Klook at RM57 per person instead of RM62 for their normal price. However, I have to get here by myself as there are no transportation included. Basically nothing is included except their harness rental. It is highly recommend you to bring your own drinking water and glove. To get to here, you need to take taxi or just rent a motorbike. The journey takes about less than 15 minutes to reach.
There is no time slot required and you just have to show your Klook voucher to the counter. Please do go to the toilet to release what you had to release or otherwise there is no way you can find a toilet on the tree.
After a short briefing and demonstration about the safety features, we are ready to go. They gave us a time limit of 2 hours. You can quit early but you cannot play over your time limit. However, if you are still on the course when your time limit finishes, you can continue until the end.
Don't you think the trees are extremely tall? Maybe it is because of the GoPro wide angle effect.
Ok, now on linear mode from the top. It is freaking tall right?
Let me show you my leg. Ya it is like more than 5 stories high. Take note, there is no chicken exit once you have started a course. You have to complete it no matter what.
The best part is the zip line across the valley. It is 200m long. Go and back. It is the most exciting part for me.
What is the scariest part for me is this Tarzan jump from a 15m tall platform and you need to hold the net by two hands. The jump really does need a lot of courage. It is your leap of faith. There are two courses that is having this Tarzan jump which is the black course and the red course.
They have plenty of course where the difficulty is differentiate by colors. The easiest is the white color and follow by yellow course which are meant for the kids only. Kids are not allowed to play adult course which is starts from green color and follows by orange, blue, red and black. I managed to finish all 5 courses within 2 hours with some time left. So there is no rush to finish them. You really have the time. The only challenge is your strength and stamina.
What I like about their setup is each color has their own unique challenge. For example this challenge you will only see in the red course and no any other courses. There are two challenges that is repetitive which are the zipline and the tarzan jump which I have mentioned earlier only available in red and black courses.
For me the challenge starts from blue course. The lesser the zipline you have to do, the tougher the course is. The zipline is actually relaxing instead of challenging. You do not need any strength to do a zipline. However, when a course has lesser zipline, you will need to do extra more obstacle course.
I do recommend you to start from green to black instead of vice versa. The reason is once you have tried black and red, your energy is already 80% depleted and you do not find any challenge on the other courses.
I really admire her courage and patience. She never try this kind of game at all. It is not what she likes but she is willing to try and complete every single one of them with her beautiful smile on her face.
Sometimes she did frown too. Especially at the beginning of the courses, amazingly when the course gets tougher the more smile she has. I thought she is crazy. LOL
Black course drained almost all my energy, time for me to look at the beautiful landscape first and rest. The weather is nice and chill. It is not hot at all because of the trees have already shed you well.
The last zipline to end the whole course. It was absolutely a great experience for us and I really do enjoy it. One of the best I had so far after the ESCAPE in Penang.
Let's move on and get ready to the next extreme ride which is the sliding car. Before that, do enjoy my video of this adventure below.
Experience an exhilarating tour of Datanla's natural wonders on the Datanla New Alpine Coaster! Using Wiegand technology, the coasters and tracks are engineered with a magnetic brake system that allows safe distances between cars. Sensor breaks are also installed to let riders control their speed, at the same time limiting the ride from going too fast.
With these advancements, riders can now safely tour the 2,400-meter track at their own pace! Zip through the woods and stop by the majestic Datanla Waterfalls, where you can take a photo or two. Not feeling touristy? Bask in the forest's tranquil atmosphere instead. Discover the beauty of Da Lat's natural landscape on this two-seater attraction!
I book this through Klook as well for RM24.00/pax instead of RM27.00. There are two types of sliding car at Datanla. This is the newest and the longest one which is located at the top of the hill beside the High Rope Course area.
You will stop at the middle to get down to witness the Datanla Waterfall. This yellow color waterfall doesn't look pleasing for me. Unfortunately, all the river and waterfall at Dalat are in this color. It is a shame.
Overall, do not miss this two amazing adventures which is located at Datanla. It is absolutely worth it and make your trip at Dalat more meaningful. Last but not least do enjoy my video of the sliding car below.

Pulau Tenggol has been promoted quite aggressively by our Malaysian Tourism since 4 years ago. The result is quite successful to attract our local citizen to make their visit on this beautiful island. Pulau Tenggol is located off Dungun Jetty. The nearest airport is Kerteh Airport which at this moment only Malindo Air will fly to this airport. From Kerteh to Dungun is only need less than 30 minutes. As for other local aviation companies will only land at Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu which needs at least an hour to reach Dungun. You may need to take a 45 minutes boat ride to Pulau Tenggol. You are advice to book in advance with the resort that you are going to stay on this island first before you visit. The reason is there is no public boat or ferry to take you to this island. All the boats at the jetty are resorts' respective private boats. There are 3 resorts on this island only and only able to find two resorts in the website and another one I am wondering ...
My buffet marathon in my latest visit to KL has gone from crazy to absolutely madness! If you follow my blog closely, I have been to 2 Japanese Buffet, 1 Chinese Dim Sum Buffet and now a so called Korean style buffet. This place is called Korean Stone BBQ Steamboat which located along Jalan Ampang. This road is very jam during dinner hours. If you came from far, this is not a place you wish to dine. You will be torturing yourself when seeing yourself stuck in the long traffic jam. Everyday voucher brought me here with thier link as follow: 50% off BBQ Buffet for dinner on weekdays only. Let's begin by picking up our raw food. More raw foods Noodles! Drinks are not included in their buffet package. Charge separately @RM1.00 per pax but it is bottomless. Kinda stupid to me because I do not understand why don't they just add inside the buffer package cost. Oh ya...btw, their buffet is cost RM27.80 per pax. Some cooked rice, noodles, porridge and shark fins...
At the same area with Restoran Siu Siu at Brickfields, there is another seafood restaurant which is known as Restoran Robson Heights Fresh Seafood. Steamed Catfish @RM156.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - The taste is fresh and good but the problem is they chose the fish which has a lot of fats in it. So there is barely meat left for 12 of us. It is a very unthoughtful choice by the chef. Lala in Superior Soup @RM45.00 Outlook: 2/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste:2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Nothing wrong with their delicious superior soup but it is just the lala which is not fresh at all. I cannot believe they still highly recommended us to take. I feel they are trying to sell of their not fresh lala away quickly. Paku Pakis @RM30.00 - This ridiculous plate of vegetable which is not really delicious but cost RM30.00. Chacoal Tofu @RM28.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 4/5 - It i...
Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Sunday is just perfect day at Singapore! Of course, if you plan to eat their buffets, Sunday will be not a suitable day as it will be super expensive. Anyway, today I just want to share one of the tourist attraction in Singapore which is the Merlion Park. I parked at Fullerton Hotel which has ample of parking spaces and it is only S$5.00/entry. The Fullerton Hotel is j...
My busy friend have to juggle between her business, family and me during my visit to Singapore. Under special circumstances, I am invited to her mom's birthday dinner. It is really such an awkward situation for me. Well, maybe my face thick enough and here I am at Sakura International Buffet Restaurant at Shaw Plaza. LOL. You can see their buffet pricing by the side. It is consider very cheap to have a buffet dinner @S$25++ only!!! The line of sushi and sashimi. Their maguro (tuna) is not really fresh but others are good. More sushi! Noodles in oriental style. Some local foods such as fried rice, singapore meehoon, rendang and etc. Chinese Dim Sum 12 different flavors of ice cream available. Fruits and yogurts. Cakes and desserts. Their California Roll is quite unique compare to all Japanese Buffet I had so far. The uniqueness is the seaweed wrap is wrapped in a plastic separate from the rice. This is to ensure the rice does not make the ...
Marble 8 is the sister company of the famous Marini's on 57 which is located at level 57 of the Petronas Twin Tower while Marble 8 is staying low on the ground with a great view of the grand twin tower. You are required to wear smart casual to dine here and the parking here pretty limited. If you leave your car to the jockey, RM20 will be charged. Yes, it is not a part of their service. Pretty disappointing for a high class restaurant like this. A complimentary starter for us. Nothing amazing about the starter. What is amazed me about is the waiter knows that I do not eat beef just because I ordered their fish. So they prepared the starter without beef in it while my friend has the beef in it. Very observant. Their bread is not as impressive as I expected to be. Well, after all this is a steakhouse. So what they are expert on is steak. You can see they have a lot of choices for their steak in the menu with two types of categories which are dry-aged beef and wet-aged...
Just below Marini's on 57 , there is a Japanese restaurant which is known as Nobu at Level 56. To get to here, you have to go to Pertronas Tower 3 which is located near Chanel outlet if you are coming from inside the Suria KLCC mall. They are open as early as 6.00pm so that you have enough time to catch the sunset which is pretty awesome. The night scenery is the one everyone is waiting for to see. It is quite fun to spot familiar buildings in the night like this. It is really an awesome feeling to sit so up close and personal with Petronas Twin Tower. This is what you see when you look up through the window. During at night, you can see beautiful lights shining all over the tower. When you look down, you can see the bird eye view of Suria KLCC and KLCC Park. At night, you will be able to see them playing the musical fountain with beautiful lights playing together. They got a sushi bar available for those who prefer to see chef in action rather than kl...
I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. You will never know time flies when you are having those things at the waiting area. Something that Sushi Zanmai needs to consider. Mango Sushi @RM11.90++ Outlook: 5/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - The moment I put the whole piece into my mouth, the sweetness of the mango already started to pamper my tongue. Once the biting started, the sweet taste is ge...
Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm. Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it. Without a doubt, they did it very well. The meat is so fresh but what is the best part is the gravy. Not sure how they made it but it brings a little wine taste in it with spicy kick. Absolutely uniquely delicious! Steam Salted Chicken @RM22.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - By steaming the chicken like that, the gravy has already penetrated the entire chicken meat. If you just eat the chicken itself, it i...
