At Dalat, it may be too boring if you are just taking photos everyday. Even you can find different location and different theme, you may end up taking the same shot. So my advice to you is take a break from the photography session and get some adrenaline rush at Datanla where you will be experience the high rope course and the South East Asia longest sliding car.
I signed this high rope course from Klook at RM57 per person instead of RM62 for their normal price. However, I have to get here by myself as there are no transportation included. Basically nothing is included except their harness rental. It is highly recommend you to bring your own drinking water and glove. To get to here, you need to take taxi or just rent a motorbike. The journey takes about less than 15 minutes to reach.
There is no time slot required and you just have to show your Klook voucher to the counter. Please do go to the toilet to release what you had to release or otherwise there is no way you can find a toilet on the tree.
After a short briefing and demonstration about the safety features, we are ready to go. They gave us a time limit of 2 hours. You can quit early but you cannot play over your time limit. However, if you are still on the course when your time limit finishes, you can continue until the end.
Don't you think the trees are extremely tall? Maybe it is because of the GoPro wide angle effect.
Ok, now on linear mode from the top. It is freaking tall right?
Let me show you my leg. Ya it is like more than 5 stories high. Take note, there is no chicken exit once you have started a course. You have to complete it no matter what.
The best part is the zip line across the valley. It is 200m long. Go and back. It is the most exciting part for me.
What is the scariest part for me is this Tarzan jump from a 15m tall platform and you need to hold the net by two hands. The jump really does need a lot of courage. It is your leap of faith. There are two courses that is having this Tarzan jump which is the black course and the red course.
They have plenty of course where the difficulty is differentiate by colors. The easiest is the white color and follow by yellow course which are meant for the kids only. Kids are not allowed to play adult course which is starts from green color and follows by orange, blue, red and black. I managed to finish all 5 courses within 2 hours with some time left. So there is no rush to finish them. You really have the time. The only challenge is your strength and stamina.
What I like about their setup is each color has their own unique challenge. For example this challenge you will only see in the red course and no any other courses. There are two challenges that is repetitive which are the zipline and the tarzan jump which I have mentioned earlier only available in red and black courses.
For me the challenge starts from blue course. The lesser the zipline you have to do, the tougher the course is. The zipline is actually relaxing instead of challenging. You do not need any strength to do a zipline. However, when a course has lesser zipline, you will need to do extra more obstacle course.
I do recommend you to start from green to black instead of vice versa. The reason is once you have tried black and red, your energy is already 80% depleted and you do not find any challenge on the other courses.
I really admire her courage and patience. She never try this kind of game at all. It is not what she likes but she is willing to try and complete every single one of them with her beautiful smile on her face.
Sometimes she did frown too. Especially at the beginning of the courses, amazingly when the course gets tougher the more smile she has. I thought she is crazy. LOL
Black course drained almost all my energy, time for me to look at the beautiful landscape first and rest. The weather is nice and chill. It is not hot at all because of the trees have already shed you well.
The last zipline to end the whole course. It was absolutely a great experience for us and I really do enjoy it. One of the best I had so far after the ESCAPE in Penang.
Let's move on and get ready to the next extreme ride which is the sliding car. Before that, do enjoy my video of this adventure below.
Experience an exhilarating tour of Datanla's natural wonders on the Datanla New Alpine Coaster! Using Wiegand technology, the coasters and tracks are engineered with a magnetic brake system that allows safe distances between cars. Sensor breaks are also installed to let riders control their speed, at the same time limiting the ride from going too fast.
With these advancements, riders can now safely tour the 2,400-meter track at their own pace! Zip through the woods and stop by the majestic Datanla Waterfalls, where you can take a photo or two. Not feeling touristy? Bask in the forest's tranquil atmosphere instead. Discover the beauty of Da Lat's natural landscape on this two-seater attraction!
I book this through Klook as well for RM24.00/pax instead of RM27.00. There are two types of sliding car at Datanla. This is the newest and the longest one which is located at the top of the hill beside the High Rope Course area.
You will stop at the middle to get down to witness the Datanla Waterfall. This yellow color waterfall doesn't look pleasing for me. Unfortunately, all the river and waterfall at Dalat are in this color. It is a shame.
Overall, do not miss this two amazing adventures which is located at Datanla. It is absolutely worth it and make your trip at Dalat more meaningful. Last but not least do enjoy my video of the sliding car below.

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL. Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. As for the bowling shoes is chargeable at RM2.00 per pax. FYI, the prices not inclusive government ta...

Sitigun Cafe is located at the junction between Jalan Nagor and Jalan Bawasah. Finding a parking here is a pain. Well, they do served great coffee so it is worth it. Croissant with smoked Salmon @RM16.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - Their croissant are really fresh as they baked daily. The soft and fresh croissant mix with smoke salmon is truly great. If the croissant itself has the rich buttery taste, that would be perfect for me. Flourless Chocolate Cake @RM12.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Too plain for me and does not really amazed me. Not photos about their coffee but their signature is still their coffee. Do drop by just for a cup of their coffee because I saw them hand pick the coffee beans and roasted themselves. A very tedious process but brings out the best coffee taste to their customers. I like it! Another thing I like about this cafe is they have a seat facing the road. It ...
Erhai Lake is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. It means, 'sea shaped like an ear', in Chinese. Implying that the lake is ear shaped and as large as a sea, hence it was so named. The Erhai Lake covers an area of 250 square kilometers (96 square miles) and is located about two kilometers (1.2 miles) east of Dali. It is like a crescent lying between Cangshan and Dali city as seen from Cangshan Mountain. In a sunny day, the crystal waters of Erhai Lake and the snow mantled Cangshan Mount radiate with each other. Thus the scene was commonly described as 'Silver Cangshan and Jade Erhai'. There are a lot of ways to tour around the Erhai Lake but I suggested you the best two ways. Cycling/Sightseeing Car/Electric Bike/Electric Car - No matter which type of transportation you are using, you need 2 days to complete the tour around the lake. The total distance is 128km. My suggestion is you leave your big...
Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC. Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds. I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. You can adjust the range of the target ...
After a night at Camp 5 , finally I am here to make my finale of my Mulu trip which is to climb the Mulu Pinnacle! The above picture already telling you all the warnings and time that you will take. As early as 8.00am in the morning, we started this adventure. I have brought myself 3 liters of water, 4 chocolate bars, dozens of biscuit packs and a lunch box which is included in this tour package. If you are not signed up with any tour agency, you need to pack your own lunch box. Total distance is 2.4km, it may sound easier than 9km jungle trekking walk but you are wrong if you do think like that. Not a well made road like you can see in Mount Kinabalu (for those been there). All are rocks and roots. Actually I prefer this trail more than the ladder type of trail in Mount Kinabalu. The reason is I can adjust the height that I would like to put my step onto. For Mount Kinabalu, it is a fixed height. The terrain on this mountain is very spiky. It has a lot of spiky rocks ev...
After a disappointing Kedai Makanan Sin Kimdo , we wanted to cover our disappointment with a series of scrumptious desserts. So once again Ms. Ting introduced us to this dessert house which is called U Desserts. Without further ado, let's start off with our desserts. Double Milky with Ice Cream @RM6.80 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - Not milky enough but it is getting there. Interestingly to see to mix with a chocolate ice cream. Not really blending for those two but it is a good try. Stewed Egg with Fresh Milk Honey and Sea Coconut @RM6.80 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - I think this is pretty worth it because there are a lot of my favourite sea coconut for me to eat! About the stewed egg, it is a cold version which I would prefer a hot version instead. Durian Pancake @RM4.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - Quite expensive for a dessert like this wi...
Today I will bring you to a romantic dinner at Ferdinand's, The Magellan Sutera Harbour. This is an Italian 5 star restaurant which you must be ready for an expensive bill during checking out. If that day is special for you, just let them know and they will place you to a special quiet location with a lot of romantic decoration around it. Our chef today is Chef Daniele Rossetto from Venice, Italy. We have a very high expectation with the food that is about to serve to us from him. We have a dedicated waitress called Ms. Alice that is specially assigned to serve us personally. She is always standing nearby to attend to us if we need anything. Very attentive customer service is given by this restaurant. The choices in their menu is not a lot for you to choose from but it is fine for me because at least you know every each of them are the signature by Chef Daniele Rossetto. Complimentary delicious bread is given to us. I wish to finish them off but I do not ...
Dim sum is always everyone's favourite even to our Muslim friends but finding a Halal and delicious dimsum is not that easy at all. After I have dined in Restoran Minmax, I know this is the best ever Halal dimsum that's available in Malaysia currently. It advised to come before 12.00pm during office hours or else you will have a hard time finding a seat. Even you able to find a seat, you will need to wait for a long time for the food to arrive. Prawn Dumplings @RM6.90++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 4/5 - The prawn that is hidden inside the dumpling skin is so big and tangy. It is so fresh which you wish there is more than a prawn inside it. Absolutely delicious! Scallop Dumpling @RM12.90++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - You are not getting a tiny pieces and you are not getting just half but one whole 20 cents sized scallop inside the dumpling.
