To be honest, I never visit a restaurant more than one time except Kiraku Japanese Restaurant which I have posted about it the third time now. Please rest assure that this post is going to be different and will definitely excite you. The reason is because Kiraku Japanese restaurant is the only Japanese restaurant providing a very own private teppanyaki room with breath taking performance by the teppanyaki chef. They have 2 large rooms and 6 small rooms available.
The meat that I have ordered on that day is salmon @RM37.00++, chicken @RM28.00++, lamb @RM64.00++, beef and foie gras @RM79.00++. Anything you ordered under their teppanyaki menu session will be cooked in front of you.
Before those meat that I mentioned earlier, we had squid first which cost RM30.00++. Unfortunately, we had a bad start because of this. The squid is too salty to our liking. The only credit I can give is the squid is fresh.
The chef that we have on that day is called Chef Reya. She is one of the cutest chef that I have known so far. She got a great skill and big nice smile. If you would like to meet her, please make sure you do it fast because she is about to leave the restaurant back to her country, Thailand to get married and settle down there.
She got a dedicated heart to present the best meal in front of us. We are truly captivated by her sincerity in serving the best of hers to us. I am truly proud and lucky to have her as our teppanyaki chef on that day.
Just a simple meat that is divided to four of us but they are displayed in a way that makes us wanted to savor it right away. She also provide her very own special made sauce for us to taste. It is really unique and delicious. It has wasabi taste in it and definitely appetizing especially you mixed together with the tasty salmon. The chicken is less impressive because the meat is slightly hard to chew.
I thought the salmon I had earlier was the best but I was wrong after these were up later. They are the beef, foie gras and lamb. Even it is just a small size after divided into 4 of us, the beef is still able to bring out the natural grain fed meat fragrance into your mouth. As for the foie gras, this is the best ever foie gras that I have tasted so far. The foie gras is so soft and it melts gently on my tongue. The best part is it does not carries any weird and unpleasant taste that I usually had in other restaurant. Lastly, the lamb does has a strong gamey taste but that is how I like it to be done.

Pretty amazing eh? Even my goddaughter was impressed and excited by it. She never even blink! All credits go to Chef Reya. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant just for their teppanyaki. It is truly amazing experience which you will never forget for life. I really hope Kiraku able to maintain this kind of quality forever. I wonder if they able to find a good replacement for the professional Chef Reya. She will definitely will be missed.

What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. I may have introduced a "shocking" Kampachi , Japanese Cuisine for you all. So this time I will lower a bit the level of the Japanese Cuisine but the quality is still that good. The Japanese Restaurant is called Rakuzen. This restaurant is the sister company with Hokkaido Ichiba , Kura Japanese Restaurant , Zen , Sushi Zanmai and Pasta Zanmai which means they are from the same boss. The difference is Rakuzen consider a high end Japanese Restaurant among all of them and follow by Kura , Hokkaido Ichiba , Zen and Sushi Zanmai while Pasta Zanmai is under different category. As you can see Super Dining Sdn Bhd has monopolizes the Japanese Restaurant market in Malaysia. That does not mean any good if the quality is not well maintained. This is the entrance of the Rakuzen Restaurant. No sushi belt available here so all orders are ala-carte basis. The dining area G...
Driving a go cart like a F1 driver before? I always dream about this and doing it together with my sister who is lack of adventurous gene in her. So lately Dealmates is offering a great deal to experience such feel in a F1 circuit alike! The link for the offer as below: RM25 instead of RM35 for a 10-minute single K80 Go-Karting Session So basically in this voucher you are paying for RM25 instead of RM35 for a 100cc go kart. 100cc is very fast. Please do not compare with Genting 's go-kart which a bicycle can be faster than that. However, the major turn off is only valid on weekdays. Actually does not really affect me that much since I am owning my business. Haha... We went there twice. The first time she wear a skirt so not really good for her to drive. By the way, there is a two-seater go kart available too! So we make our second attempt this time and all the staffs still remember her as "the girl with her skirt" even almost 3 weeks! She ...
Bungee jump...anyone? Haha...when people hear the word "bungee jump", usually you will get an immediate response "NO WAY". Seriously, if you are a person who likes to play roller coaster or the solero shot @ Genting , this bungee jump is absolutely nothing because the panic moment is just lasted for 3-5 seconds on the jumping board. Once you jumped, you already have nothing to fear because you already find yourself above the water in a moment. So the "excitement" is way way faster than a roller coaster or the solero shot. There were once we have 2 bungee jump spots in Malaysia. One at KL Tower and another one at Sunway Lagoon which is organized by AJ Hackett Company . Around year 2009, AJ Hackett has pulled out from KL Tower spot due to certain issue. So our country now left one and only one jumping spot. I have been to KL Tower jumping spot before and I do feel the KL Tower will be more "exciting" than the one at Sunway Lagoon. However,...
This will be my last post for my Sandakan trip. I hope you enjoy it and I know some of you have started yelling at me to show some Klang Valley post instead. Well, you are going to have it tomorrow. As for now, let me do a finale for my trip at Sandakan with another local signature dish which they are popular with their fish ball, fish paste and almost everything is about fish. The place is called Kedai Makan Kong Teck. The pot which is ready to make some great noodles! 虾腐 - It is a prawn paste 鱼腐 - This is the fish paste 鱼卷 - Fish roll 鱼交 - Fish wantan (top) and 鱼滑 - Fish Dumplings (bottom) Basically how you order is to pick any of those above toppings on your favorite noodle available here. They will just prepare the rest. 老鼠粉 + 鱼腐 虾腐 鱼滑 鱼交 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - I really like their 老鼠粉 which also known as Silver Needle Noodles. I was told it is handmade by themselv...
My buffet marathon in my latest visit to KL has gone from crazy to absolutely madness! If you follow my blog closely, I have been to 2 Japanese Buffet, 1 Chinese Dim Sum Buffet and now a so called Korean style buffet. This place is called Korean Stone BBQ Steamboat which located along Jalan Ampang. This road is very jam during dinner hours. If you came from far, this is not a place you wish to dine. You will be torturing yourself when seeing yourself stuck in the long traffic jam. Everyday voucher brought me here with thier link as follow: 50% off BBQ Buffet for dinner on weekdays only. Let's begin by picking up our raw food. More raw foods Noodles! Drinks are not included in their buffet package. Charge separately @RM1.00 per pax but it is bottomless. Kinda stupid to me because I do not understand why don't they just add inside the buffer package cost. Oh ya...btw, their buffet is cost RM27.80 per pax. Some cooked rice, noodles, porridge and shark fins...
It’s known as the Ha Long Bay of the land. About 150 kilometers from the famous Vietnamese bay where hundreds of islands form a natural wonder is another equally as impressive landscape. This one, known as Trang An, is nowhere near the coast, though. The mountains are connected by rice paddies, not water. You can cycle to them, not sail. And – best of all – they are not full of foreign tourists. Such is the joy of a Trang An boat tour. Trang An Heritage Complex is a part of Ninh Binh province, it is about 100km away from Hanoi city center. If Halong holds an impressive and magnificent beauty, Trang An will be its best rival. Though smaller in size, you will be lost in a wonderland with the karst mountains, lush green forests, sparkling and crystal-clear river and the endless rice field running to the horizon. In general, the cost of entrance fees & boat trip of three routes is the same ( 200.000vnd/ person) on a shared- rowing boat (maximum 4 people/ 1 boat). You can ch...
I really cannot remember when is the last time I had my middle eastern food. Luckily this time, Everyday has brought me to Forbidden Kitchen, Ampang with an offer I couldn't resist. It is very easy to find as it is just right opposite of Ampang Point across the main road of Jalan Ampang. The link as below: 50% off for RM30 voucher With this RM30 voucher, you can choose any drinks and meals in their menu inclusive taxes. Real orchid which I can't resist not to take a picture of it. This is the indoor area. They have 2 outdoor areas which are at the entrance and by the pool. This place is very neat and tidy. That is my first impression when I am in this restaurant.
