Kiraku Japanese Restaurant, Cyberjaya (Teppanyaki Special Edition)

To be honest, I never visit a restaurant more than one time except Kiraku Japanese Restaurant which I have posted about it the third time now. Please rest assure that this post is going to be different and will definitely excite you. The reason is because Kiraku Japanese restaurant is the only Japanese restaurant providing a very own private teppanyaki room with breath taking performance by the teppanyaki chef. They have 2 large rooms and 6 small rooms available.
The meat that I have ordered on that day is salmon @RM37.00++, chicken @RM28.00++, lamb @RM64.00++, beef and foie gras @RM79.00++. Anything you ordered under their teppanyaki menu session will be cooked in front of you.
Before those meat that I mentioned earlier, we had squid first which cost RM30.00++. Unfortunately, we had a bad start because of this. The squid is too salty to our liking. The only credit I can give is the squid is fresh.
The chef that we have on that day is called Chef Reya. She is one of the cutest chef that I have known so far. She got a great skill and big nice smile. If you would like to meet her, please make sure you do it fast because she is about to leave the restaurant back to her country, Thailand to get married and settle down there.
She got a dedicated heart to present the best meal in front of us. We are truly captivated by her sincerity in serving the best of hers to us. I am truly proud and lucky to have her as our teppanyaki chef on that day.
Just a simple meat that is divided to four of us but they are displayed in a way that makes us wanted to savor it right away. She also provide her very own special made sauce for us to taste. It is really unique and delicious. It has wasabi taste in it and definitely appetizing especially you mixed together with the tasty salmon. The chicken is less impressive because the meat is slightly hard to chew.
I thought the salmon I had earlier was the best but I was wrong after these were up later. They are the beef, foie gras and lamb. Even it is just a small size after divided into 4 of us, the beef is still able to bring out the natural grain fed meat fragrance into your mouth. As for the foie gras, this is the best ever foie gras that I have tasted so far. The foie gras is so soft and it melts gently on my tongue. The best part is it does not carries any weird and unpleasant taste that I usually had in other restaurant. Lastly, the lamb does has a strong gamey taste but that is how I like it to be done.

Overall: 4/5 - A simple okonomiyaki has made into heart shape. Very brilliantly done! As for the taste, it was not bad and not particularly outstanding either.

Overall: 4/5 - This ordinary garlic fried rice has made it no longer ordinary anymore we her outstanding performance. RM11.00++ is well paid for! Watch the video clip below to know understand why.

Pretty amazing eh? Even my goddaughter was impressed and excited by it. She never even blink! All credits go to Chef Reya. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant just for their teppanyaki. It is truly amazing experience which you will never forget for life. I really hope Kiraku able to maintain this kind of quality forever. I wonder if they able to find a good replacement for the professional Chef Reya. She will definitely will be missed.

Warakuya Japanese Garden, Mount Austin

I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. The Sagano Scenic Railway is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of western Kyoto, which is mostly known for the Arashiyama area. Known also as the Sagano Torokko or Sagano Romantic Train, this retrofited old-fashioned stream train takes you beyond Arashiyama for a perfect escape from the busy cities and crowded spots of the rest of Japan. After an overrated trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I had my disappointment redeemed by visiting Shika Snow Mountain. The highest point that we can go as a tourist is only 4500m instead of 4680m at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. However, it is fine by us for many reasons so do read on. It is quite easy to get to the snow mountain from Shangri-la because it stands 4 miles (7 kilometers) to the southwest of the county. Take bus line 9 from Shangri-la Passenger Station, and get off at the terminus. The bus is available from 7.30am to 5.00pm at hourly intervals. The fare is CNY 3. Take a taxi to the scenic area at about CNY 30 for a single trip. Charter a car, and it costs about CNY 60 for a round trip. You should agree a time with the driver for him to pick you up for the return trip. I took the option 3 which is the convenient options ever as you don't have to waste time to take the bus. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! Hawker Center @Jalan MacAlister, Penang

What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Castle, park, shrine and temple are my favourite spots. However when you are travelling together with your kids, you just have to insert something is their favourite such as Kyoto Railway Museum. My boy loves train, bus and airplane. This is his heaven! The Kyoto Railway Museum was opened in April 2016 by JR West on the former site of the Umekoji Train and Locomotive Museum, about a twenty minute walk west of Kyoto Station. Where to see such a view at KL while enjoying your red wine? Here we are at Luna Bar which is located at the level 34 of the Pacific Regency Hotel Suite. By occupying the roof top of the hotel, you are able to see this great view. Along with me is Suyin, the DJ wannabe that I talked about previously and now we are here enjoying our beautiful Sunday night drinking red wine and feel the breeze. Really is an amazing experience! They have a DJ playing R&B songs and sitting right in the tower which is located at the top right of this picture. By the way, no dance floor provided. If you really feel like dancing, maybe you can dance at your own table. You can choose to sit by the pool side or by the window. Many people asked me what is there in Kunming, honestly, I will say nothing. It is just a city with a dirty lake called Dianchi Lake. The locals love there though but you really do not wish to waste your flight ticket, accommodation and time for that. Trust me. The best part of Kunming is located 82km away which is a town named Shilin.  Kunming Stone Forest, Shilin in Chinese, is a spectacular set of limestone groups and the representative of south China’s karst landscape. Known since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) as the 'First Wonder of the World', it is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan.
