Restoran Kee Heong, Klang

Seriously, I really cannot catch up with the amount of Bak Kut Teh restaurants in Klang. Klang is really a land of bak kut teh. However, I am trying to cover as much as possible. For the time being, I will cover this restaurant which is known as Restoran Kee Heong.
RM2.00 for a stale you tiao is not really a good choice to have. It is optional, you can request them to remove it. I prefer a crunchy and crispy you tiao to mix with the delicious bak kut teh gravy. It gives the crispy sensation with the herbal soup richness in it.
Their rice is different than other restaurant. It has extra fragrance which is caused by their fried onion within it. Their rice is cost RM2.00/plate.
Restoran Kee Heong offers two types of soup based for their bak kut teh. Their popular one is their dry based which is cost RM13.00/pax while what you see in the picture is the soup based cost at RM11.00/pax. It has strong herbal taste which makes you treat their soup as their drinking water instead of having their tea. They are not stingy when refilling the soup. They willing to fill up the whole pot for you without additional charges. The only cons is they do not have the internal organs to offer. All is just pork meat.
I will definitely be back to try their dry version bak kut teh. It is not very easy to find a dry version bak ku teh. You will only find them in Klang only.

Overall: 3/5 - It is also known as their signature Symphony of Starters, which takes you across the breadth of Indochinese cuisine with Vietnamese shrimp crystal rolls, lemongrass prawns, Cambodian-style deep-fried shrimp cakes and minced chicken on cinnamon sticks. All served with a variety of piquant sauces. The plate is just nice for 2 pax but the price is too expensive for that small portion.

Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - If you think that coconut soup should be a milky soup, then you are wrong. This is a chicken tomyam clear soup with coconut meat in it. Very delicious and creative way to make it. The coconut meat is the highlight of the entire soup. It just gave the soup an extra coconut fragrance in it and of course, they are edible. Do not worry, the soup is not too spicy.

Magnum Cafe @IOI City Mall, Putrajaya

Outlook: 5/5
Creativity: 5/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 4/5 - It contains of cashew meringue, Mascarpone cream, honey balsamic cream served with white chocolate dipped vanilla Magnum topped with freeze dried raspberries and fresh strawberries. My suggestion is to mix them all together including the ice cream itself otherwise by eating the ice cream alone will be too sweet. Once you mixed them all together, the magic comes. The sensational taste of creamy, crunchy, a little sourish kick and sweetness combining all together to create a wonderful ice cream dessert. Definitely is a must order dessert when you are there.
