Sukiya, Kota Damansara

Sukiya is a fast food Japanese restaurant which is very well known at Japan and right now they make their investment in our country. They have over 1000 branches throughout the whole Japan. While there is only 2 Sukiya in Malaysia at this moment which is one at USJ Taipan and one is located just opposite the Sunway Giza mall.
It is self-service like any other ordinary fast food chain restaurant in Malaysia. They become so popular in Japan is because they are very fast and affordable for the employees in Japan where speed lunch is highly in demand.
Mayo Teriyaki Chicken Set @RM9.90++, Tofu Set @RM5.00++ and Edamame Set @RM4.00++
Outlook: 4/5

Taste: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Tofu and edamame is not good. Tofu is tasteless while the edamame is over boiled. As for the Mayo Teriyaki Chicken, it is acceptable and not really that bad at all for a quick lunch like this.

A closer look on the Mayo Teriyaki Chicken. These are prepared in front of you in less than 30 seconds. Super speed!
Gyudon Beef Set @RM7.90++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - When it is a speed lunch, you cannot have very high expectation over the food taste. The most important thing is the meal can last you until your dinner. So from my explanation here, you should understand of the food taste here.

Their set meal comes together with a drink. So basically you are spending RM9.90++ max for a lunch. This is an affordable price for a lunch in Klang Valley. You can't find any Japanese restaurant that is able to serve as fast as they do. However, the quality wise...you just have to lower it down to avoid disappointment.
Total Damage: RM28.40
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 3/5
Food Serving Speed: Very Fast
Will I Revisit?: No but to those who feels like want to have a cheap Japanese food but has time constraint, do think of this restaurant.
