Today I would like to introduce to you a steamboat restaurant called Restaurant Harbour Steamboat. Whenever I dined in this restaurant, automatically I will think of Mabel Hon, my ex-colleague. She is one of the greatest girl I ever met who has a really good sense of finding good food. This ala-carte steamboat restaurant is introduced by her.

All the above dishes are must order for your steamboat. They have many types of soup for the steamboat but I only highly recommend their TomYam Soup. Everyday, this place easily full house especially on weekends. So please do call to reserve a seat to avoid disappointment. Without a doubt, the price for the steamboat is very expensive but the quality is there. So just spend your money on them without any worries. They have enough manpower so their service is excellent. No wi-fi available here and the parking space are quite ample, it is just a little walking distance need to do.


This place actually brings me a lot of memories. My ex-colleagues and I always dine here during our pre-event setup. Lots of laughter, jokes and gossips around...I cannot forget for life...I miss you all~

Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. By the appearance of it, Restoran Yu Hing definitely doesn't look appealing enough to become a tourist spot for you as your dining choice. However, I am still going to introduce to you their noodle. They do serve other variety of food but something worth to be here is only their noodle which is known as Beaufort Fried Noodle. Beaufort is a name of a town in Sabah. This is their very own local delicacies which you won't find it easily at any part of Malaysia or even Sabah. You have to be either in Kota Kinabalu or Beaufort to experience it. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm.  Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it. It is my day with my little princess, Ying Ying. She is getting cuter every single day. We had our own sweet time at Coliseum Cafe & Grill Room. This restaurant has been operating since 1921 and this is the first time after 92 years, they started to branch out their restaurant to Plaza 33 and Mid Valley. This restaurant has clinched Malaysia Book of Records award for the "Longest Operating Western Colonial - Themed Restaurant. Their first ever restaurant is at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.  It is not easy to sustain this long. They surely has their uniqueness in their menu to keep their customers happy. One of the reason is they are pork free restaurant. This easily encourage Malay citizens which stands more than 70% in Malaysia to enjoy western food in this restaurant. I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. Once again being a free tour guide for a group of people from Yunnan, China to Penang for some nice local delicacies. However, they were complaining about our food is not spicy enough.
