Tim Ho Wan @The Gardens Mall

If you guys still remember, Blu Med Restaurant was here before but as expected that restaurant will not able to last for their lousy food quality. So here comes the well known Tim Ho Wan from Hong Kong. This restaurant has awarded a lot of prestigious award world wide and now they are starting their business through worldwide now. This restaurant is much promising than Blu Med
They really got a lot of customers no matter what time slot it is because we able to eat Dim Sum no matter what time it is. There are two things to highlight about this restaurant are, first, they will not give you a table if your company is not full. Second, the choices of drink here are pathetically limited. Plain water, canned drinks, Chinese Tea and that's all. I was expecting they will have their famous HK Milk Tea. Well, after all they are just focusing in their dim sum only.

Overall: 3/5 - It's filled with cubed radish, minced pork, peanuts, corn kernels, and scallions. I love the super fine thin transparent skin which wrap it just nice to secure the fillings yet able to seduce you with the colorful ingredients in it. The savory taste and the fillings is so fulfilling will definitely makes you pick up the next one.

Vermicelli Roll with Pig's Liver @RM10.85
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Common choices are made of prawns, char siew, vegetable or scallops but this a pig's liver? Sound weird and I am sure everyone will be wondering if it is going to taste good. Well, I have tried it and I can assure you the smooth and silky texture of the skin blend well with the fresh pig's liver. The sauce plays the big part in it I think. It is not bringing the over salty taste in it but it just enhance the taste of them in style. Still don't get it? Experience it!

Spring Roll with Egg White @RM7.83
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - You would probably asking me this, "Just egg white?" The answer is yes. Almost all egg white and very little minced prawn in it which is hardly noticeable. Surprisingly they are good! Crispy golden skin gives you the delightful crunchy sound of it and your teeth sink softly into the egg white. The fragrance started to roam out with the combination of the fried fragrant and the egg white fragrant. Suddenly you will feel like you are having so much protein in this dim sum.

Tonic Medlar & Osmanthus @RM6.79
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - The name itself sounds like you are eating a medicine. Well, if you are thinking the same too, you are absolutely right. Goji and Osmanthus Fragrans (a type of flower) which are always used in Chinese medicine but because of their sweet and delightful fragrance they have used in cooking, tonic soup and even dessert like this. This is a must order dessert and it is the so called Panna Cotta in Chinese style.

When you are dining in a restaurant that is being rewarded with Michelin Star, you will expect their creativity and quality in their menu. Basically, anything you order in their menu will never let you down. The only thing is the choices in their menu is very limited. Hopefully, they are hardworking enough to create a new dim sum to replace them regularly. Overall, it is still a great place for a dim sum!
