Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul @IOI City Mall, Putrajaya

The famous cendol from Penang has establishing their chain restaurant adventure over to Klang Valley and now they are even in Putrajaya. This well-known cendol stall has come a restaurant is known as Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul.
This is their origin which is just a hawker stall and visited by every celebrities. You just need to good at one thing and people will make you famous. That's how it works in life.
RM5.90++ for their original chendol. Their chendul is way different than the one you used to have in Melaka. Their brown sugar is sweeter and the best part is their green jelly which known as cendol in malay. It is so soft and fine. The moment you chew it give you the tender and springy sensation. No other cendol has such a delicious green jelly as they do but the one which is at Batu Pahat, Johor to have a similar jelly taste.
The original may be good but just not good enough to beat their own Chendul Durian. Using the same brown sugar and green jelly but the durian fragrance was so good which you will definitely won't stop digging for more. The best past is their bowl is a medium size bowl which definitely able to satisfy your own indulgences over cendol.
When you are already famous with cendol, it is a good time to diversify some other dishes which I heard they are pretty good at which are their assam laksa, curry mee and rojak.

Overall: 4/5 - It contains of cashew meringue, Mascarpone cream, honey balsamic cream served with white chocolate dipped vanilla Magnum topped with freeze dried raspberries and fresh strawberries. My suggestion is to mix them all together including the ice cream itself otherwise by eating the ice cream alone will be too sweet. Once you mixed them all together, the magic comes. The sensational taste of creamy, crunchy, a little sourish kick and sweetness combining all together to create a wonderful ice cream dessert. Definitely is a must order dessert when you are there.

Overall: 3/5 - It is also known as their signature Symphony of Starters, which takes you across the breadth of Indochinese cuisine with Vietnamese shrimp crystal rolls, lemongrass prawns, Cambodian-style deep-fried shrimp cakes and minced chicken on cinnamon sticks. All served with a variety of piquant sauces. The plate is just nice for 2 pax but the price is too expensive for that small portion.

Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - If you think that coconut soup should be a milky soup, then you are wrong. This is a chicken tomyam clear soup with coconut meat in it. Very delicious and creative way to make it. The coconut meat is the highlight of the entire soup. It just gave the soup an extra coconut fragrance in it and of course, they are edible. Do not worry, the soup is not too spicy.
