Bich Dong Pagoda, Ninh Binh

Three kilometers to the East of Tam Coc boat pier in Ninh Binh province, Bich Dong pagoda (the pagoda of the Emerald Grotto) located in the Truong Yen range, looks on a valley of fertile rice fields, crossed by the Truong Giang River and leans on Bich Dong Mountain of Ngu Nhac Son Mountains. 

To access the pagoda, the only way is steep stone steps. However, what is waiting for you after the long way is really worth your climbing.

The Bich Dong Pagoda was built by 2 Buddhist monks: Tri Kien and Tri The. When entering the pagoda, you will have to pass over a stone bridge and go through a beautifully decorated gate. Once you pass through the Bich Dong Pagoda gate you will find yourself in an oasis of tranquility. Take your time to admire and explore the place.

Bich Dong Pagoda is not an usual one since it consists of 3 separate layered pagodas: Ha, Trung and Thuong. These three pagodas are built in ascending order and to reach them you must climb some steep stairs but trust me, the view is well worth it. The steps are located on the left side of the first pagoda – Ha. Ha Pagoda is the first one you will see and it is used as a Buddha shrine. Once you will enter the pagoda, you will be welcomed by statues and incense.

Climbing a few stairs will get you to the second pagoda. Trung Pagoda is divided into two areas. Half of the pagoda is situated outside and half is situated inside the cave. To reach the third and last pagoda, Thuong, you will have to go through the Dark Cave. Don’t get discouraged by all the steep stairs since the view will be worth it!

The entrance fee is free. So there is no reason you shouldn't be here. The tour will take you less than an hour. So I highly recommend this place if you have time to spare.

So there are no air-conditioner provided and you are surrounded by greens. Very nice atmosphere to have your meals. An exotic dining experience! What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. I may have introduced a "shocking"  Kampachi , Japanese Cuisine for you all. So this time I will lower a bit the level of the Japanese Cuisine but the quality is still that good. Bungee Jump @Sunway Lagoon

Bungee jump...anyone? Haha...when people hear the word "bungee jump", usually you will get an immediate response "NO WAY". Seriously, if you are a person who likes to play roller coaster or the solero shot @ Genting , this bungee jump is absolutely nothing because the panic moment is just lasted for 3-5 seconds on the jumping board. Once you jumped, you already have nothing to fear because you already find yourself above the water in a moment. So the "excitement" is way way faster than a roller coaster or the solero shot.  There were once we have 2 bungee jump spots in Malaysia. One at KL Tower and another one at Sunway Lagoon which is organized by AJ Hackett Company . Around year 2009, AJ Hackett has pulled out from KL Tower spot due to certain issue. Driving a go cart like a F1 driver before? I always dream about this and doing it together with my  sister  who is lack of adventurous gene in her. So lately Dealmates  is offering a great deal to experience such feel in a F1 circuit alike! Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. Kedai Kopi Lotus, Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. Today, I will introduce to you a budget Korean Restaurant. The restaurant is called Sweetree and it is located at Ampang. If you are from Ampang, you should know there is a place where a lot of Koreans living here. Yup, it is the Korean Village. You can see all the shops will have Korean wordings on it.
