5.1 Cafe Gallery, Sri Petaling

The most basic thing a godfather got to do is to celebrate his god daughter's birthday every year. That's one thing I will make sure I will not fail doing it. This year I had the celebration held at 5.1 Cafe Gallery. 
Normally, a restaurant owner will try to fully utilized the shop space with more tables and chairs to accommodate more customers. However, he chose to have this special section which can put 2 tables at least to put his photograph and some antiques. From here, you should have able to guess that the owner has a strong passion in photography too.
There are a lot of cute and small stuffs which you can't resist not to feed into your instagram.
Most of the cafes that I have been will only put smaller tables which only can fit 2 pax and barely can make it four because they want to maximize the space with customers. However for this cafe, they tend to put have more big tables for big group to avoid their own privacy coffee session at the corner. It is really relaxing and enjoying.

I enjoyed myself with a short kids photography session with my god daughter. She has been a cooperative model which I wish to take more of her shots one day.
They have specialty hand brew coffee which cost at RM14.90++. The problem is the bean selection is always limited or out of stock. Luckily after the 3rd time I have been to this cafe, I finally able to taste their Costa Rica bean. It was a little fruity which was just fine by me.

Mushroom Soup with Garlic @RM13.90++

Overall: 3/5 - Creamy and delicious mushroom soup which has tiny mushroom bits to chew on. The garlic bread is perfect with the soup itself. I can have this whole thing all by myself.
Four Cheese Spaghetti with Salmon @RM25.90++

Overall: 3/5 - I would expect it to be very cheesy since it is stated four cheese but it isn't. Just a right amount of cheese which gave you four different kinds of cheese that are used here. See if you can identify all the cheeses. It was a decent dish just that the salmon is too few. I wish to be more.
Bacon Aglio Olio @RM16.90++

Overall: 3/5 - This is my favourite because the bacon is grilled fragrantly and the most importantly is the slight hint of spiciness which activated my whole appetite. I finished all of it within 3 minutes. Too delicious and I just can't stop myself.

Finally, the special moment that she has been waiting for which is the cake. She has been wanted a cake from me all the time and how can I disappoint her. Happy Birthday, my sweetheart!

Look at that cheeky girl who stole a strawberry right away before even start to cut the cake. How adorable she is. I got a feeling she will grow up to be a beautiful girl.
Overall, this restaurant has a decent coffee and delicious food. There are not much choices in their menu but it is enough to make me come back for more.

What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Sports Shooting Club Hatyai (SSC)

Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! After taking the cable car from Harbourfront to Sentosa Island, Skyline Luge is what you will see when you reach there at Imbiah Lookout. Riding this can get you faster to the Siloso Beach and extremely exciting too! The price is as above and as you can see there is an express queue charges if you got bored of queuing. Luge is a very light sled where over here it is functioned by wheels instead of skate. It slides down the hill without using engines to run it. They have two types of trails which are Dragon Trail and Jungle Trail. Choose either one you prefer but if you choose more than 1 ride, you should try both! Blue Moon Valley actually is an extremely blue river meandering through a lush valley of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
