Phostreet, Sunway Velocity

Vietnamese cuisine has started to introduce themselves in Malaysia more rapidly throughout the years. I still can remember 5 years ago, it is not easy to locate a Vietnamese restaurant but now they are everywhere and easily more than Indonesian cuisine. Phostreet is one of the restaurant that is making the impact.
Their two signature Vietnamese beverages which are Mung Bean + Water Chestnut and Lotus Seeds & Red Dates @RM7.90++ each. Personally I prefer the Mung Bean Water Chestnut which is not too sweet.
Pho Beef Tender Slices @RM17.90++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - As the name of the dish itself already stated that, the beef is a real tender one. The soup is acceptable fragrant beef soup and the noodle is tangy and springy. The only problem is I wouldn't want to spend an almost RM20.00 for a bowl of noodle.

Vermicelli Roasted Pork and Spring Rolls @RM16.90++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Vietnamese cuisine is famous with their spring roll and this restaurant is live up their name for it. As for the roasted pork, it is really tender and flavorful. It is truly delicious.

Roasted Lemongrass Chicken Rice @RM17.90++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - The chicken is well infused with the lemongrass fragrant and with light roasted taste in it. I just wish the chicken portion would be bigger than the white rice itself.

Overall, the taste is absolutely unquestionably good. However, after you are looking at the price tag, you will feel it is not worth it at all. It is double the price compare with the price they are selling at Vietnam. Vietnamese cuisine is a peasant cuisine but it has been commercialized into an overpriced cuisine. They should continue to make this cuisine affordable so it won't lose the real value of it.
Total Damage: RM78.70
Ambiance: 3/5
Service: 3/5
Food Serving Speed: Fast
Will I Revisit?: No
