The Base Tea Bar, Kluang

A small town like Kluang, being stand out is really important especially when in a food and beverage business. However, it is totally a different case for The Base Tea Bar. As you can see from the picture above, they are located at an alley behind a row of shops which the road is the dead end.
I can't describe detail enough how secluded it is. You have to witness it by yourself. The parking here is extremely limited but you will have a plenty of parking space on Friday and Saturday where the open parking space which is reserved to Wisma Bunga will be opened to public.
The interior design is more into 90s. The rattan chairs and tables are pretty limited and low. It is not convenient for dining unless you are here for their tea only.
There is a staircase to lead to the first floor but they have no plan to expand yet despite limited seating available.
It is an air-conditioned environment but it can be pretty hot especially during the afternoon where the sun shines directly above your head.
Overall, I love their design which bring me warmth and maximum relaxation by emptying my mind and soul especially the flower fragrant spread throughout the whole cafe.
There is the pretty lady boss, Ms Carol who is one of the owner of this magnificent cafe. All the recipe is done by herself through trial and error.
Rose Brewed Pot @RM15.00 - Specially mixed and brewed with honey, dates and goji in it. It is a strong type of brew which gives you a good head start for the day.

Overall: 3/5 - Okonomiyaki is a Japanese pizza with ham as the main ingredient here. I should have order their octopus instead because this okonomiyaki is not very impressive. However, it is still edible.

Overall, their menu is limited to light bites and tea only. There is no coffee and main course yet but according to Ms. Carol, they are still looking to it. Since they have just started their business early this year so keeping the momentum is the most important thing. After they got the common patrons, they will need to improvise new things to turn them into their loyal customers.
