Sing Yi Food Centre, Sandakan

Now we have came to the 5th post about my Sandakan food adventure trip. This time I will bring you something which is very locally made and will not find at KL. The place is called Sing Yi Food Centre which their pork dumpling contain century egg inside. Maybe some of you might have tried it before at some place at KL. But I can tell you this is totally different. You need to taste it for yourself only you will realized.

Overall: 3/5 - 刀麻切 is the name of the noodle. Not really sure how to translate that into English thou but it is a pretty unique noodle which I have never taste it before. Even the 鱼付 as well! Why they did not bring this specialty to KL? Surely is a hit!

Warakuya Japanese Garden, Mount Austin

I used to whine that Japanese cuisine in Johor Bahru is horrifying and disappointing until I meet Warakuya Japanese Garden at Mount Austin. From the exterior itself, this restaurant looks so grand and luxury. The first thing comes to my mind is the price will be hefty. However, when I saw the queue in front of the restaurant, I already doubt their price is going to be really expensive. I know people just loves good food but at the minimum price. Who doesn't anyway? One of the best part of the restaurant is they are providing 42" LCD TV, free flow of drinks and seating area for the queue. You will never know time flies when you are having those things at the waiting area. Something that Sushi Zanmai needs to consider. Mi Na Rae Korean Restaurant, Sri Petaling

It has been a very long time since I have written about a Korean cuisine. I have been upset by a lot of new Korean restaurants recently until the point of time I truly forgot when was the best time I had a good Korean meal before. Lately, as I have been keep exploring the food places in Sri Petaling, my Elayna Jie recommended me again a restaurant called Mi Na Rae. Mi Na Rae Korean Restaurant is located at the first floor. Have you ever wonder why most of the Korean likes to open their restaurant upstairs? I really do not know why and it seems like a culture to them. The set up is very humble and cozy. You won't see any haze in this restaurant like you used to see in other Korean restaurant where they will cook in front of you. This restaurant's policy is no cooking in front of their customer. Cangshan Mountain, Dali (Zhonghe cableway)

The Cang Mountains (Cangshan) are a mountain range west of Dali City. Their snow-capped peaks, flowing clouds, murmuring brooks, diverse flora, and historical temples make them one of the most famous attractions in Dali. It is a great place to enjoy a bird's eye view of Erhai Lake and Dali Ancient Town. Cable car and hiking are both great ways to enjoy the scenery of the mountains. However, you have to know there are three cableways in the mountains: Ximatan Cableway, Zhonghe Cableway, and Gantong Cableway. I just know after I know my tour package is going to Zhonghe Cableway. If you do not want to spend any money for the cableway, you can actually hike too. However, it is not really a hiking friendly terrain. Hiking is a popular way to enjoy the mountain scenery. Near Tianlong Babu Studio City at the foot of Cangshan Mountain is a hiking route, and many locals take their morning exercise along this route. Visitors can hike this route, too. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. See Good Food Centre, Kuching

Since already at Kuching, seafood is always a must try. I decided to visit See Good Food Centre which is very famous. Even the locals know about how good this place is. So without further ado, let's order some food to eat. Amazingly to see that they have a wine cellar here. But I did not order any of them. Not really in the mood for the wine yet. This is my first time dining at Sentul and glad to know this great Chinese restaurant which is known as Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong. This is the crowd at 6.00pm on Sunday. Crazy right? Let you see from another angle. They just own one shop lot but seems like owning an extra 4 parking space but still they are people standing and waiting for their seat including me! Chong Siew Lam Restaurant, Serdang

Never know about this place until I watched Ah Xian from the TV Programme which is known as "Taste with Jason". This restaurant is known as Chong Siew Lam Restaurant. No signboard to show this place but this is the only the crowded place in the whole street. They only serve for lunch so do expect great crowd roaming to this place between 12.00pm to 2.00pm.  Steamed Tilapia Fish Head @RM20.00 Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 - Tilapia is a freshwater fish and the best is to steam it. I may have introduced a "shocking"  Kampachi , Japanese Cuisine for you all. So this time I will lower a bit the level of the Japanese Cuisine but the quality is still that good. The Japanese Restaurant is called Rakuzen. This restaurant is the sister company with  Hokkaido Ichiba ,  Kura Japanese Restaurant ,  Zen ,  Sushi Zanmai  and  Pasta Zanmai  which means they are from the same boss. The difference is Rakuzen consider a high end Japanese Restaurant among all of them and follow by  Kura ,  Hokkaido Ichiba ,  Zen  and  Sushi Zanmai  while  Pasta Zanmai  is under different category. Bungee Jump @Sunway Lagoon

Bungee jump...anyone? Haha...when people hear the word "bungee jump", usually you will get an immediate response "NO WAY". Seriously, if you are a person who likes to play roller coaster or the solero shot @ Genting , this bungee jump is absolutely nothing because the panic moment is just lasted for 3-5 seconds on the jumping board. Once you jumped, you already have nothing to fear because you already find yourself above the water in a moment. So the "excitement" is way way faster than a roller coaster or the solero shot.  There were once we have 2 bungee jump spots in Malaysia. One at KL Tower and another one at Sunway Lagoon which is organized by AJ Hackett Company . Around year 2009, AJ Hackett has pulled out from KL Tower spot due to certain issue.
