Sing Yi Food Centre, Sandakan

Now we have came to the 5th post about my Sandakan food adventure trip. This time I will bring you something which is very locally made and will not find at KL. The place is called Sing Yi Food Centre which their pork dumpling contain century egg inside. Maybe some of you might have tried it before at some place at KL. But I can tell you this is totally different. You need to taste it for yourself only you will realized.

Overall: 3/5 - 刀麻切 is the name of the noodle. Not really sure how to translate that into English thou but it is a pretty unique noodle which I have never taste it before. Even the 鱼付 as well! Why they did not bring this specialty to KL? Surely is a hit!

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. After Waterfall Abseiling adventure, now is Water Tubing Time! Wee~~~ It cost you only RM50.00/pax only which includes tea break. At first you will be taken to their lodging location . This place will be where you geared up and change your clothes later on. Oh yes, you will definitely wet from top to bottom. You can choose a single tube or a double tube if you are coming here with more than one person. This is the Sungai Geroh, fresh water from Cameron Highlands. Our starting point is at Riverbug Asia lodging area which will take at least 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete about 6 km riding with the tube. Basically you just sit on the tube and control it with your pedal to avoid 360 degrees turning. If you are expert, you can row with your hands like my instructor did. This is another example of why you should not use vouchers as a celebration after my last experience at Eyuzu Japanese Restaurant with my beloved sister. This is a voucher from Dealmates . Dim sum is always everyone's favourite even to our Muslim friends but finding a Halal and delicious dimsum is not that easy at all. After I have dined in Restoran Minmax, I know this is the best ever Halal dimsum that's available in Malaysia currently. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, Dali

Three Pagodas located in Chongsheng Temple, is about 1 kilometers (0.6 miles) northwest of the Dali Ancient City. Facing Erhai Lake, Chongsheng Temple is located at the western border Cangshan Mountain. It's said that 9 Kings of Dali Kingdom chose to be a Chongsheng monastery in the temple. The Three Pagodas inside the temple was built 1,800 years ago. It is a symbol of the history of Dali City, and a record of the development of Buddhism in the area. As its name implies, Three Pagodas are made of three ancient independent pagodas forming a symmetrical triangle. This is unique in China. A visit to the pagodas should not be missed by any visitor to Dali City. Sitigun Cafe is located at the junction between Jalan Nagor and Jalan Bawasah. Finding a parking here is a pain. Well, they do served great coffee so it is worth it. At Kota Kinabalu, you may find Sheng Rou noodle is very common and famous among the local especially this Kedai Kopi Jia Siang which has a lot of customers roaming to their restaurant from day to night. Since they have a crowd like this, I have to make my point for it. Complimentary tofu for each ala-carte order. Tsate normal for me because I prefer a hot tofu. Sheng Rou Soup Noodle Outlook: 3/5 Creative: 3/5 Taste: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - The ingredients are a lot but the noodle is plain and unimpressive. Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP.
