To be honest, I never visit a restaurant more than one time except Kiraku Japanese Restaurant which I have posted about it the third time now. Please rest assure that this post is going to be different and will definitely excite you. The reason is because Kiraku Japanese restaurant is the only Japanese restaurant providing a very own private teppanyaki room with breath taking performance by the teppanyaki chef. They have 2 large rooms and 6 small rooms available.
The meat that I have ordered on that day is salmon @RM37.00++, chicken @RM28.00++, lamb @RM64.00++, beef and foie gras @RM79.00++. Anything you ordered under their teppanyaki menu session will be cooked in front of you.
Before those meat that I mentioned earlier, we had squid first which cost RM30.00++. Unfortunately, we had a bad start because of this. The squid is too salty to our liking. The only credit I can give is the squid is fresh.
The chef that we have on that day is called Chef Reya. She is one of the cutest chef that I have known so far. She got a great skill and big nice smile. If you would like to meet her, please make sure you do it fast because she is about to leave the restaurant back to her country, Thailand to get married and settle down there.
She got a dedicated heart to present the best meal in front of us. We are truly captivated by her sincerity in serving the best of hers to us. I am truly proud and lucky to have her as our teppanyaki chef on that day.
Just a simple meat that is divided to four of us but they are displayed in a way that makes us wanted to savor it right away. She also provide her very own special made sauce for us to taste. It is really unique and delicious. It has wasabi taste in it and definitely appetizing especially you mixed together with the tasty salmon. The chicken is less impressive because the meat is slightly hard to chew.
I thought the salmon I had earlier was the best but I was wrong after these were up later. They are the beef, foie gras and lamb. Even it is just a small size after divided into 4 of us, the beef is still able to bring out the natural grain fed meat fragrance into your mouth. As for the foie gras, this is the best ever foie gras that I have tasted so far. The foie gras is so soft and it melts gently on my tongue. The best part is it does not carries any weird and unpleasant taste that I usually had in other restaurant. Lastly, the lamb does has a strong gamey taste but that is how I like it to be done.

Pretty amazing eh? Even my goddaughter was impressed and excited by it. She never even blink! All credits go to Chef Reya. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant just for their teppanyaki. It is truly amazing experience which you will never forget for life. I really hope Kiraku able to maintain this kind of quality forever. I wonder if they able to find a good replacement for the professional Chef Reya. She will definitely will be missed.

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL. Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. As for the bowling shoes is chargeable at RM2.00 per pax. FYI, the prices not inclusive government ta...

After taking the cable car from Harbourfront to Sentosa Island, Skyline Luge is what you will see when you reach there at Imbiah Lookout. Riding this can get you faster to the Siloso Beach and extremely exciting too! The price is as above and as you can see there is an express queue charges if you got bored of queuing. Luge is a very light sled where over here it is functioned by wheels instead of skate. It slides down the hill without using engines to run it. They have two types of trails which are Dragon Trail and Jungle Trail. Choose either one you prefer but if you choose more than 1 ride, you should try both! Luge is the most dangerous sports in the Winter Olympics. So it is the same goes to this. You must adhere to their warnings and instructions at all times to avoid any unwanted accidents happen which will spoiled your entire day. The first thing to do is to get the right size of helmet. Then, you listen to the instruction on how to control the luge....
After a night at Camp 5 , finally I am here to make my finale of my Mulu trip which is to climb the Mulu Pinnacle! The above picture already telling you all the warnings and time that you will take. As early as 8.00am in the morning, we started this adventure. I have brought myself 3 liters of water, 4 chocolate bars, dozens of biscuit packs and a lunch box which is included in this tour package. If you are not signed up with any tour agency, you need to pack your own lunch box. Total distance is 2.4km, it may sound easier than 9km jungle trekking walk but you are wrong if you do think like that. Not a well made road like you can see in Mount Kinabalu (for those been there). All are rocks and roots. Actually I prefer this trail more than the ladder type of trail in Mount Kinabalu. The reason is I can adjust the height that I would like to put my step onto. For Mount Kinabalu, it is a fixed height. The terrain on this mountain is very spiky. It has a lot of spiky rocks ev...
After an overrated trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I had my disappointment redeemed by visiting Shika Snow Mountain. The highest point that we can go as a tourist is only 4500m instead of 4680m at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. However, it is fine by us for many reasons so do read on. It is quite easy to get to the snow mountain from Shangri-la because it stands 4 miles (7 kilometers) to the southwest of the county. Take bus line 9 from Shangri-la Passenger Station, and get off at the terminus. The bus is available from 7.30am to 5.00pm at hourly intervals. The fare is CNY 3. Take a taxi to the scenic area at about CNY 30 for a single trip. Charter a car, and it costs about CNY 60 for a round trip. You should agree a time with the driver for him to pick you up for the return trip. I took the option 3 which is the convenient options ever as you don't have to waste time to take the bus. The bus is not bad actually for just CNY3 for the fare but the bus took an hour t...
Another seafood restaurant after Welcome Seafood Restaurant and New Luyang Restaurant , this is called Restoran Masakan Sedap. Kota Kinabalu really undeniable has so many seafood restaurants which makes you too confuse to decide which is the best. However, I am not going to share my another seafood experience in this restaurant because I can't be having 3 seafood restaurants in my 4 days trip. I would have ban seafood for life after that...no way I will cause that! Not a bad appearance for this shop to attract customers especially tourist. More live seafood to choose from. Their kitchen is opened for the public to view. Not like the other two seafood restaurants that I have blogged. Oh ya, I have yet to tell you what I am trying to share with you. No no...I am not here for the crab again. Yes, I am here for them! Coconut Pudding @RM9.00++ Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - What big coconut pudding for one person to eat. ...
Shangri-La is the "Eden in dream". Since it first appeared in British novelist James Hilton's Lost Horizon in the 1939, it has been associated with the mystique of a place which could not possibly exist here on Earth. In Tibetan,Shangri-La means the "sun and moon in heart", an ideal home only found in heaven. There the lofty and continuous snowy mountains, endless grasslands, steep and grand gorges, azure lakes and the bucolic villages always leave a deep impression on visitors. As a Chinese saying goes, "The earliest sunrise is seen in Shangri-La; and the most unique place is also there". Once you visit, you will fully appreciate the meaning of this saying. In addition, the warm welcome of the residents of this land will make you feel at home. In the past, it was called Zhongdian or "Jiantang" in Tibetan. In ancient times, it together with Batang (in Tibet) and Litang (in Sichuan) was the fiefdom of the three sons of a Tibetan King. In...

It has been 3 years and I am glad that I able to celebrate my god daughter's birthday without fail. She is really a gem in my heart. Since she is getting older every year, I am trying my best to give her unforgettable birthday celebration to her. I have come across with many places with exciting events for celebrating birthday for the kids. However, she is just 3 years old. So not too much things that she can do yet. Therefore, I rather to keep it simple for now and keep the fancy idea in the future. In the end, I decided to dine at Marmalade which is located inside the Bangsar Village II. This cafe is very colorful and the staffs are friendly too. They were kind enough to store my ice cream cake for us and they do allow outside cake even though they do have their own cake themselves. The highlight of this restaurant is they own a small playroom to excite the kids. When my god daughter saw this corner, she totally forgot about her food. Too tempting. If you do not hav...
There are plenty of things to eat in Boracay and basically you do not have to worry about food here. They have local cuisine to western cuisine. You name it and they got it. The food prices in Boracay is slightly high. Average to spend for food per person excluding drinks will be approximately PHP250. Oh yeah, please take note that the currency that I will use is in Philippine Peso. So you just convert it to your own currency at the time you are reading this article. I will start to introduce to you the most expensive one to the cheapest one in Boracay. No matter what price it is, they are definitely a delicacy! Let's start with a fire. This fancy restaurant sitting deep inside the d'Mall which is known as Cyma Greek Taverna serving authentic Greek Cuisine. I have never tried a Greek cuisine before not until in Boracay. Surprisingly, I have not come across with any Greek restaurant in Malaysia yet. Anyway, this fancy delicacy is their appetizer called Saganaki @P...
