Vitamin Sea, Seri Kembangan

After Shellout, I brought my two lovely borther and sister to experience another restaurant with Cajun seafood style at Vitamin Sea which is located at Sri Kembangan. The restaurant and the seating are not as comfortable like Shellout because it is an open space restaurant. As for their menu, it is pretty straight forward. Two sets of package with two different kinds of taste and other side orders. By the way, this restaurant provides gloves which is less messier and doesn't leave our hands with the fishy seafood smell like what I had experience at Shellout.
Combo A: Mud Crab set @RM99.00++. We had this in cream sauce because my sister can't take any spicy stuff. That's a letdown. The cream sauce is less impressive because the sauce is not hot or at least warm. It is cold at room temperature.
Combo B: Flower Crab set @RM79.00++. This time we ignored our sister and had their in-house signature spicy sauce. The taste is much more better than the cream sauce. We added extra Hamugari Clams @RM6.90/100g and Kappa RM10.00/500g in it. Overall their seafood are still can be considered as fresh but the flower crab is disappointing because it is too skinny to dig any meat in it.
When we spent above RM100, we were offer half lobster at RM9.90++ where the original price is RM99.00++. By looking at the size, you know that is an outrageous price to sell it at RM99.00++. Since it is just RM9.90++, so we just took it even though the size is like a size of a Tiger prawn. We got the feeling it is not even worth RM9.90++ somehow. Anyway, the taste is use the same cream sauce earlier but this time the cream sauce is warmer than before so which makes the so called lobster taste better.
Overall, it is not an impressive Cajun style seafood restaurant but when you are dining with people you love, everything seems to be extra delicious. Maybe that's what people called it the taste of "warmth".

Overall: 3/5 - It is also known as their signature Symphony of Starters, which takes you across the breadth of Indochinese cuisine with Vietnamese shrimp crystal rolls, lemongrass prawns, Cambodian-style deep-fried shrimp cakes and minced chicken on cinnamon sticks. All served with a variety of piquant sauces. The plate is just nice for 2 pax but the price is too expensive for that small portion.

Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - If you think that coconut soup should be a milky soup, then you are wrong. This is a chicken tomyam clear soup with coconut meat in it. Very delicious and creative way to make it. The coconut meat is the highlight of the entire soup. It just gave the soup an extra coconut fragrance in it and of course, they are edible. Do not worry, the soup is not too spicy.

Overall: 4/5 - It contains of cashew meringue, Mascarpone cream, honey balsamic cream served with white chocolate dipped vanilla Magnum topped with freeze dried raspberries and fresh strawberries. My suggestion is to mix them all together including the ice cream itself otherwise by eating the ice cream alone will be too sweet. Once you mixed them all together, the magic comes. The sensational taste of creamy, crunchy, a little sourish kick and sweetness combining all together to create a wonderful ice cream dessert. Definitely is a must order dessert when you are there.
