Masjid Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu

Masjid Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu is another floating mosque which is similar like Masjid Kristal at Kuala Terengganu. Not a very grand name for me if to compare with a name like Masjid Kristal. Anyway, it has become a tourist spot for people around the world.
You can take paddle boat ride around the mosque which only cost RM5.00 (adults), RM3.00 (kids above 5 years) and kids below 5 years old are free. There are 3 riding session which are 9.00am - 11.45am, 1.30pm - 3.00pm and 4.15pm - 5.45pm. Every each riding session allowed is 20 minutes only.
There is no blinking lights like Masjid Kristal on this mosque which I feel it is much more authentic sacred place.
Without those lights but with a beautiful sky like this, equally great!
My new friends from China are really impressed with the mosque in our country especially this. Every each creative carving and design really makes them awe so much.
We were there during the Maghrib prayer hour. So the prayers are roaming in to say their prayers. We were greeted with their warm smile from them.
Right opposite Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen is a small beach where we can see great sunset view like this. During my travel, raining loomed almost everyday so the sun was greatly covered by the clouds however the clouds unable to hold the beautiful glowing sunlight.
Please do not surprise when I am telling you such sky is not going to happen in China especially on the place with lack of clouds and with high humidity weather. To them, it was an astonishing view. To some of us like me, I am pretty much get used to it already.
Playing around with my filter to see a different kind of effect on the sky. Not really the best because the noisiness of the picture is still visible.
It is a great place to be and most importantly it is free. However, please be extra careful when crossing the road because this is a main road with a lot of cars especially off working hours.
