So many patisserie & boulangerie restaurants now...is it that high demand? Or nowadays people prefer bread rather than rice? Here I am to another bakery concept restaurant at Bangsar which is known as Yeast! I was there to taste, not filling up my stomach so you will not see their main menu in my post here. They do sell wine here too for a bakery restaurant! Wow! Can consider as halal still? Their main chefs are all foreigners. Convincing enough to bring you the genuine bakery from France? When I saw Ben's General Food Store, I thought it is the same as the Ben's restaurant at Pavilion. After my best friend, Ailin explained to me and I realized I was making a mistake. There are totally different so let's see their difference. Old school weighing machine. Interesting way on how they setting up the seats here and their plates here. Old school steel plate and the seating are all lining up in a row. Like a canteen! The menu is totally different with Ben's restaurant. Their kitchen...really like a canteen style. Feel like in the school again! I was highly recommend by Ailin that to try their roasted chicken. Is the best in their whole menu. So why will I miss that? You only can choose either half a chicken or whole chicken. Every each order will comes with 2 free salads which you can choose freely. Venezia Italian Restaurant has gone through a lot of obstacles from changing name, changing chef, changing menu, changing price and etc until today. They were once very famous and swarm with customers where you will hardly find a seat there. I heard from their regular customers that they suddenly change their chef and the food become awfully made. From that day onward, from a swarm of people reduce slowly to none. Can you imagine when the time I dine was 7.00pm and the time I left was 9.30pm, not even a single other customer than us coming to this restaurant. That is how terrible their reputation is. However, those are past and they have improved and getting better but no one knows. I hope from my posting here they will able to get some attention. Xi Shuang Ban Na is located at the most southern part of Yunnan province and it is very near to the border of Myanmar. So do not surprise to see there are Myanmar wordings in this area. The buildings are also in very Myanmar style. It is very obvious that Myanmar culture has been injected to the people of China at this area. So I went to their most popular tourist spot which is known as Wild Elephant Valley to see elephant show. If you know, elephant is always an iconic symbol in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. Since this area has been influenced by Myanmar, they also believe in elephant to be an iconic symbol.
