Souled Out @Somerset, Ampang
Souled out has been began their footstep at Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara since 1996 and finally they opened a new branch after 15 years at the east of Klang Valley, Ampang. It is a great news that I do not have to travel so far for it. 7atenine @Ascott and W.I.P @Bangsar are under the same company with Souled Out.

Overall: 3/5 - Scallop on a bed of rich pumpkin puree, topped with aged balsamic reduction, tomato & avocado and garnished by alfalfa shoots & drizzled with truffle oil. Incredibly done but unfortunately the chef was making these in bulk which has made these dish turned cold when it was served. Pretty disappointing.

Overall: 3/5 - Served with parmesan mash, sauteed spinach, green lentils, diced carrots & yoghurt mint sauce. Slight gamey taste which is pretty okay for me which at least I know I am having a lamb chop. Other than that was pretty normal as not much meat for me to chew on. Once again, the serve it in a bulk, the lamb has turned cold.

Overall: 3/5 - Covered with sauteed organic spinach, antichoke bottom, golden roast pumpkin, shimeji mushroom topped with crispy capers & lemon beurre blanc. This should be the best dish for that night. I light the crispy part on top of the fish. Nicely done crisp with soft and melty fish meat inside. Perfectly done. However, too bad because when they served this dish, it was already cold. Yes, they served in bulk too.

Overall: 2/5 - I do not really know who the heck creating this lousy dessert. The apple and the cake do not seem to blend for me. Apart of that, the lava inside the chocolate cake already turned cold.

| Newly opened inside the Somerset, Ampang and right beside the busy road of Ampang. Very obvious enough to catch an eye of them since most of the time you will stuck in a jam on this road. |
Parking inside the Somerset and leaving your car to the valet are the same price which is cost RM10.00 per entry. I rather leave it to the valet which save my time to hunt for a parking lot.
