A Night Feast @Wai Sek Kai, Pudu

Image
Wai Sek Kai at Pudu divided into 2 sessions which are a morning session and an evening session. Previously I have blogged on the Dai Bou Mee  and Egg Custard  for the morning and afternoon session. Now I will complete it with whole evening session about Wai Sek Kai. Begins with the Pork Intestine Soup which is the most famous in the Wai Sek Kai during the evening session. The man behind the famous Pork Intestine Soup.  Pork Intestine Soup @RM10.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 3/5 - Very delicious in every single pieces of it and the soup is very tasty as well. However, the price is slightly at the steep. I still prefer Pork Intestine Soup from Restoran Hoong Fook . According to my sister, this Turnip Cake stall has already operating for 3 generations. Turnip Cake Outlook: 2/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - I never really enjoy a real delicious Turnip Cake up until today and even by this 3 ...

Chinatown Dessert, Pandan Indah

Image
In my previous post on Chinatown Dessert , I said I will not revisit anymore but somehow this time I am convinced by my sister that I should revisit to try their other desserts. So here I am, testing their other desserts. Black Sesame Puree @RM3.80++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 - Not bad. Not too sweet. Compare with Poon Kee Dessert , this is better. Original Taufu Fah @RM3.50++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 2/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Not really a special and delicious Taufu Fah but with such a price I rather have lorry type of taufu fah. Honeydew Sago @RM5.80++  Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - The honeydew is not sweet enough since honeydew is the main ingredient here. Mango Lao @RM6.50++ Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 2/5 Taste: 2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Very sourish mango shaved ice. I do not really favor this especially such a price. Glutinous Rice Balls ...

Jalan Peel Hawker Center, Pudu

Image
I have a post everyday but is already 10 days I have stopped. No special reason to it except I have been busy with my business lately. Lately I went to stay with my dearest sister's house again. Arghhh....feel myself so troublesome to her since she is going to have a final exam soon. She and her family took the trouble to take me to their local hawker center along Jalan Peel, just opposite Shell Station. Picking her up from her college again and she treated me to eat the food that she used to eat all the time. This is the hawker stall which is arranged along Jalan Peel. This is the Fried Kuih Teow which my sister highly recommend it. Fried Kuih Tiau With Mee @RM5.00 Outlook: 2/5 Creativity: 2/5 Taste: 2/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - Sorry, mui! This is not the Fried Kuih Tiau that I prefer. I more prefer a Fried Kuih Tiau with more "wok hei". BBQ Chicken Wings @ RM2.00/pc Outlook: 4/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 ...

Kiku Zakura @Times Square

Image
As promised in my earlier post on Kiku Zakura , I will be back for their Sashimi. So this time, I made my point at nearly opened Kiku Zakura at Berjaya Times Square. Along with me are my dearest sister and my beloved best friend to try the Japanese delicacies for this round. I am very blessed to have them both with me because it reminded me that the last time we hanging out like this was 2 years ago and it was at Berjaya Times Square too. What a coincidence but sound bored at the same time. Hahaha... Aren't they beauties? One is dumping her whole stack of job while fall sick and accompanying me the whole day. Another one put aside her incoming exam and ignore a study group session to accompany me. Yea, I feel grateful and guilty at the same time. How will I not loving them more? Apart being given a hot towel for cleaning our hands. They served a love shaped tamago for each of us as appetizer too. At the same time, that's the symbol to represent our relationship. :...

Tommy Le Baker @Viva Residency

Image
Tommy Le Baker is opened and managed by a local Chinese, Mr. Tommy Lee whom mastered his bakery skills at France. By bringing his wonderful breads and pastries to Malaysia in a small shop at Viva Residency, Sentul. Awkwardly, the restaurant does not open for breakfast which is pretty surprising for me. They served their bakeries for lunch and dinner. Of course, you can have your afternoon tea here too. But I doubt you can have your dinner here during weekends and public holidays because they closed at 6pm. They make fresh breads, sandwiches and pastries in the tiny shop itself. The shop is so tiny which their seat is pretty limited and lack of privacy as the tables are almost sticking with each other. My spoiled princess sister once again has to tag along with her brother. She seems to be obligated all the time. Hopefully she won't get pissed off one day. That is the boss, Mr. Tommy Lee that I mentioned earlier communicating with his customer in French. Ready made s...

Harrods @KLCC

Image
The famous Harrods from Brompton, London which has known as the 2nd largest upmarket department store in England comes to Malaysia to open a small branch in KLCC selling a lot of stuffs directly from England. Harrods founded by Charles Henry Harrod in 1824 from doing several of listed linen wholesale business to groceries and later becomes a retail operation selling machines, perfumes, medicine, fruit and vegetables. They have an extremely strict dress code which they will turned away patrons whom they feel they are not properly well dressed. They also did turn away soldier in uniform, scout troup, a woman with a mohawk hairstyle and even a 95kg woman. Luckily, it is not as strict as in the one at Malaysia. Now Harrods is owned by Qatar Foundation...yes...if you a Barcelona fan, you will notice this sponsor on their jersey. Large bear at your service. Along with it is my precious girls. Modern vintage windows which directly facing the KLCC fountain and their park. Wha...
