I don't know since when ice cream has becomes the latest hit in Malaysia. A lot of ice cream parlors coming to town. I do not have to mention about the numbers of ice cream parlors in Klang Valley but I will just tell you the total amount of ice cream parlor that I known of as of date at Mount Austin Heights alone only is already got 5. Yes, you heard me right. Just this tiny place alone has 5 ice cream parlors. I heard from my friend who is staying there claimed that it is more than 5 at Mount Austin Heights. Well, all I have seen was 5 so far. Anyway, what is more exciting is one of the ice cream parlor which is known as Creamery Boutique Ice Cream is a famous franchise ice cream in Thailand. They have 4 ice cream parlors in Bangkok and now they are setting their foot in for the first time in Malaysia. Their first choice was not KL but JB! How honored I am for being a Johorean!
Ice cream...hmm...who doesn't like? From young kids to the parents are all the big fans of ice cream. I wouldn't hide myself by not admitting I am one of the big fan too!
Due to the crazy amount of competitors, everyone created their own signature way of presenting their ice cream. Some using the nitro ice cream or soft serve ice cream but this ice cream parlor has done it a rather creative way. So as you can see, first, you select a type of cookie out of their 4 given choices. Their signature cookies are Matcha Lava and Choco Lava. Well, I opted for Matcha Lava for a rather less sweet cookie.
After that you choose a scoop of ice cream out of their 12 choices. You can test their ice cream for free. Their popular ice creams are Mix Berry Cheese, Baby Milk and Green Tea. Their baby milk ice cream is really 100% made from baby milk. So does the Guinness flavor, a real strong stout beer flavor in it. Meanwhile for their Banoffee flavor is not a mixture of banana and coffee which is what I thought it should be but it is banana with caramel. For your information, all their ice creams are homemade ice creams. 
It took them more than 10 minutes to serve. For a single scoop ice cream, it costs RM16.90 and every additional scoop will cost RM8.90/scoop.

Look at the matcha lava melting out from the cookie. The cookie is hot but the matcha filling is cold. The mixture of hot and cold is amazing. It reminds me of the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake but this is a cookie. It is really harder to make based on my experience in making the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake. Besides that, I really love my choice of Mix Berry Cheese ice cream which carries a strong cheese taste in it with a little sourish berry taste. Thai Tea ice cream is not bad either as the tea taste in it is so strong and the mixture of Thai Tea and the Japanese Green Tea are really matching somehow. 
Overall, I really love this ice cream parlor and they have become one of my favourite! They just made me feel that the soft serve ice cream is already old school. I am hoping they will maintain their current quality and keep on innovate more new ice cream flavors and cookie flavor.

Sports Shooting Club Hatyai (SSC)

Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. The first time I had my first black pepper Bak Kut Teh was at Sandakan. I never know there is one at Kuala Lumpur. I got to know it from Axian from his TV Programme, "Taste with Jason". The name of the restaurant is Kedai Makan Sek Me Choy. Even they have a space of three shop lots, their seats are still fully occupied. In the past, they were doing mining business. Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. At Kota Kinabalu, you may find Sheng Rou noodle is very common and famous among the local especially this Kedai Kopi Jia Siang which has a lot of customers roaming to their restaurant from day to night. Since they have a crowd like this, I have to make my point for it. Complimentary tofu for each ala-carte order. Tsate normal for me because I prefer a hot tofu. Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh, Kota Kinabalu

There are two best bak kut teh in Kota Kinabalu that I have known so far. One is known as Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh  and the other one is known as Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh. There are just located one street away from each other. However, both of them got the same jam packed customers as you can see from the picture above. You just cannot detect any available seat around. This is how good they are. The one and only chef in action to prepare the whole bak kut teh to all the patrons. The surprising part is the serving speed was extremely fast. Usually when you see so many people, you might think you will need to wait for quite some time but he can make sure you will get your food at the fastest speed.
