6ºC Fresh Cameron Highland Tomato Soup @RM12.00
Outlook: 4/5

Taste: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - This restaurant is so particular about their freshness of their cooking ingredients and for that they do not import overseas tomatoes. They want it fresh and instantly, so their tomatoes are directly from Cameron Highland. They are sent to the restaurant almost in daily basis. That's why RM4.00/cup for the tomato soup is absolutely worth it. The taste is so fresh and sweet as if it was just plucked! When it comes to tomato soup, I always afraid of drinking sourish tomato soup but this restaurant just makes me love tomato soup again. They added a little bit of calamansi sorbet in it for the slight sourish kick.

Home-grown Farmer Tomatoes @RM12.00

Overall: 3/5 - An exotic combination of oriental flavours which decorated like a bird nest with papaya salad dressed with roasted ground peanut, tamarind sauce and tossed with mint leaf in it. I am not a salad lover myself. This dish is just too healthy for me. However, my friend who is a health conscious person, who just saw this like a gem to her. She said she can just have this all day. It is so fresh and good for her to keep fit.

Hydrophonic Baby Cos "Caesar's Style" @RM16.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Another "diet" meal for me. It is a classic Caesar Salad of Parmigiano-Reggiano and smoked garlic dressing, given a twist with baby cos leaves, thinly-sliced beef bacon, radish, cherry tomato and anchovy topped with slices of slow-cooked blackened chicken breast. If you are on a diet, this is just perfect for you with complete nutrition that you need for the day.

East Meets West @RM16.00
Outlook: 5/5

Taste: 5/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - Best soup for starter ever...period! Creamy avocado in a cheesy mornay sauce and smoked chicken ham, topped with fresh coconut milk and mixed herbs croutons. It is so smooth, sweet and milky soup which I thought it was tailor made for me. The best part is even it is with cheese but you do not feel queasy at all and you will feel more appetizing than ever. Truly unbelievable.

Prawn Risotto @RM30.00

Overall: 3/5 - It is served with freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and a hint of lemon and orange zest. The cheese is truly fragrant but the risotto rice is a little bit too hard for my liking.

The Englishman's Fish & Chips @RM26.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - Good news for fish and chips lover! You are going to love this river fish fillet coated with multigrain seed batter, served with a classic apple cider vinaigrette and tarrar sauce. Crispy on the outside and silky smooth and soft in the inside. That's just like what you always want in your fish and chips. In addition to that, the fish is so sweet and fresh. Plus, the chips are air-fried to serve you the healthiest yet still preserved the crispy and crunchy fries that you are hoping for.

Squid Ink Pasta @RM25.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - Artisan homemade fresh pasta colored and flavored with squid ink, cooking with squid, tomato julienne, cilantro and virgin olive oil. They just changed my perception that there is something better than my all-time favorite spaghetti carbonara. The pasta which is made from the squid ink is so smooth, tangy and fragrant! The taste is like you never experience before. No wonder this is their signature dish. You must order this at all cost! And do not even try to share because it is not even enough for me alone. The portion is too delicious to be too small for me.

1824 Beef Cheek @RM42.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - Braised in beef jus with mirepoix and bouquet garni (a combination of aromatic vegetables and herbs to lightly flavor the stock) and served with couscous grain, buttered-verly Cameron Highlands vegetables and miso gravy. They do not served steaks but this is not bad at all by serving you the softest meat of a cow from Australia.

Lamb Stew @RM35.00
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 3/5 - Tender lamb stew, slow-cooked in rosemary juice served with local seasonal vegetables, salad and soft tortilla. Do not try to eat the lamb stew by itself because it has been added extra seasoning which makes it extra salty to get rid of the gamey taste. Do dip in with tortilla and other side vegetables in it to eat. For those who doesn't like gamey taste of the lamb, they did just well to get rid most of it.

Grilled Sutchi Fillet @RM30.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 5/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - Served with an accompaniment of refreshing tomato mint salsa, seasoned with zesty lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. Soft, tender, sweet, fresh...a completely divined taste of a fish fillet has presented to you which you just couldn't resist it to have it all by yourself. To maximize the taste, do eat together with the tomato and olive with slight lemon drip on the fish. The combination is truly makes you carve the smile out from your face.

Double Valrhona Chocolate Lava Cake @RM15.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - A moist, velvety-smooth chocolate cake with a heart of melted warm chocolate, accompanied with a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. The chocolate lava is slightly bitter than I used to eat in other restaurants. I prefer it this way especially when the ice cream itself is already sweet. When mixing them both together and eat, you will just love the hot and cold playing around in your mouth. This delightful feeling is the reason why this kind of dessert is always the signature in every restaurant.

Beetroot Ice Cream with Cheese Cake @RM15.00
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - Homemade beetroot ice cream served with soft and creamy Hanjuku cheese cake, fresh berries, drizzled with strawberry sauce. The beetroot ice cream is definitely unique. The strong vegetable taste in it just makes you feel that eating ice cream is no longer going to make you fat but you feel healthy instead when having it. Normally, the normal classic cheesecake is making me full and queasy after having such a heavy main course but it is a entirely a different case for Hanjuku cheese cake. The softness and the cheese made are filling in your appetite just right. That's the dessert you are looking for.

Apart of their homemade beetroot ice cream, they do have other extraordinary homemade ice creams too which are Osmanthus Rice Ice Cream, Cempedak Ice Cream and Sesame Ice Cream. Their sesame ice cream is my favorite among all. I got to know from Danny that they freshly make their ice cream everyday. They do not allowed any ice creams to be left over for the next day. It will be disposed. This is to ensure that their freshness in their ice cream as they do not add any other artificial ingredients to prolong the ice cream's life span.
This is the first restaurant that I known of providing such a healthy and delicious rolls for take away. Overall, I really love this restaurant is their concept of making healthy food for travelers to continue with their journey ahead of them. Apart of that, despite they are a airport restaurant, their price is so reasonable which some of them are way cheaper than KL. Just one thing they need to improve is I can feel that their restaurant is lack of manpower. Customers are waiting by the entrance for quite some time before they are being escorted to their seats. Last thing is this restaurant is located inside the airport which means you need to check-in to the international departure hall in order to dine-in in this restaurant. I hope they can have another restaurant out from the departure hall instead so that people can visit this restaurant even without a boarding pass.
